I have lived in Italy for almost 8 years now. The process of the permesso is always difficult. Requirements change as your status in Italy changes (student, worker, marriage, etc). I have seen many videos and this one has been so clear and helpful. Thank you a lot, Nikita. Fantastic help!

Hi, thank you so much for your info it is very useful, I went to the poste with everything fill out but they did not want to help me feeling out where I need to pay they call it the "importo" if Im not mistaking is the type of permesso and how much I need to pay. I´m applatying for the first time for a marriage permesso, any info would be appreciated.

I have a few questions about the Permesso di Soggiorno if anyone can help.. I have a working holiday visa and am wondering the following..
With the city you are applying for do you have to stay in that city and can you only get work in that city or is it just a formality?
Do you need a codice fiscal to process the form?
Can you provide a home address / somewhere to send the permesso after you have handed it in?
Do you need work within one week of applying for the soggiorno to stay in Italy as well as a home address?

Thank you very much, Nikita! The best guide we found! Do you know if it's needed to translate the supporting documents (financial and/or others) to Italian or English before submitting?
I don't know if it is "required" to be honest, but it always helps to translate it to Italian, as there will be a real person reading your file and making a decision, the easier you make it for him, the more chances you have. So I would translate it, even if it is not necessary. ;)
Hey! Thank so much for this, super super clear! One questions about sezione 5. If someone is renewing their permesso in 2023, and paid their taxes in 2023 for their 2022 income, would the ultimo anno be 2023 or 2022? lol! Also, can you have both modello unico persone fisiche, and also a CUD? In the case that you did your taxes with an accountant in 2023 for your 2022 earnings with an old employer, but your new employer pays taxes for you?

Hello! Do we have to go the Posta Italiana of the same city where we want the appointment at the questura?
Example: I study in Messina and I need to do the appointment for the Questura of Messina, but can I do the procedure of filling the Kit giallo in a Posta in Rome to schedule for an appointment in Messina?
super helpful, thank you so much! i will say i took my payment slip to the poste blank, and they did *not* like that, lol. so, every poste and (i assume) every employee is different! just be ready to adapt and find a new kit if you need.

If you are applying for your kid separately and, not as a part of your permesso application, I don't see how you'd need to fill out Modulo 2.
For items 14/15, how do you determine if you need the temporary (permesso do sigiorno) Vs permanent (permesso di sigiorno illimitato)? I’m a wife of eu citizen, moved to Italy. Thanks
3:45 You can only apply for a Permanent Permesso if you meet certain criteria requirements, for example, having a temporary work permit for 5 years or more.
You will have to submit a lot more documentation and I would advise hiring someone to assist for the permanent application, as it it a serious buerocratic document, and is heavily examined.
This is amazing! So much more detail than other videos out there. Wow. One question for the lavoro autonomo - what is the "date of business registration" if you know? Is that the date the partita iva was obtained? Or the date the business started in Italy? I am moving my freelance services to Italy from the Netherlands so my business is already active but has not begun "operating" in Italy so I don't want to place the wrong date here.
I also own a company outside of Italy. Dealing with that situation doesn't seem as clear.
@@stevewhite5560 I ended up going to a Patronato in Milano for assistance completing mine and they left the Business Start Date completely blank and it was accepted just fine. My commercialista registered my P. IVA on 31 August, I planned to put 1 October as my business start start. But alas, empty was also fine.

I need to renew my "permesso di soggiorno lavoro subordinato" but while reading the help kit > Foglio NOTE, "This mentioned" Ricevuta di ritorno della raccomandata con la quale lo stesso e stato inviato Sportello Unico Immigrazione competente". However I'm not sure where it can be found. As far as I know I have only been in Sportello Unico to deliver all the documents but not sure if I have received any receipt regarding my submission.
your answer is here: 10:47 - if you physically went, you'll need to write the "province" and "date" you went to the office.
