my grandfather was deaf... from Quinine he was given for Malaria when he lived and was studying to be a doctor in Sicily... but he could read lips feel vibrations and understood our own kind of sign language... i also worked caring for those who were born deaf dumb and blind... i learned their sign language... and a brother came to the facility and played checkers with one of the residents and... the resident beat my brother every single game... amazing.
Completely amazing!! For sure I´ll use it for my classes. Thanks for sharing this powerful message, from time to time we need to stop and be reminded of the gifts that we have, such as words, sight, all the senses and above all love. Thanks a lot!!

HappyDaysAG I have a bag of onions in my room labeled "satisfying sappy stories"... I don't know who puts them there but they sprout when something wonderful shows up on my screen!...

That video is beautiful, even though she can't hear him he still loves her for who she is...... He's not one of those people who would dump a person just because they are different. Deaf people are still humans too. And there special just like all of us. It's harder for them to have friends because they can't hear them of understand them. So next time you see a deaf person just remember there people too, they have needs just like we do, and they need friends just like we do.

Sure but that doesn't change the fact that I, like 99,9% of people, don't know their language so how can we be good friends to them? We'll probably make them feel miserable when they can't get their point across for 5 minutes
