The dad coming in the door that way was exactly how my mom always was and is.

Isn't it funny how now, when you are grown and you look back and things are still bothering you about how you have been treated, it is even more difficult to talk to your mom about her treatment of you? So, you talk to others to try to find clarity and the reasons for her doing what she did? Yet, you try different approaches and nothing seems to work? I went through this. Boy, when she found out that I shared how I was feeling about how I have been treated, she cursed me out, put her other daughter on the phone to threaten me, and screamed at me that she does not want to have anything to do with me for the rest of her days on Earth. I have not seen or been able to talk to her since then. Yet, I am the one who was doing for her, and she had me begging her to love me for well over 48 years of my life and trying to figure out what is wrong with me. The only conclusion I can come up with after going deep into my memory bank about the things she was doing to me as a toddler because that is how deep my memory goes is she never wanted me and I hindered her life. There is no other explanation for it. Becausse of how she has done me, I think it is wise to do as she says and have nothing to do with her or her daughter. I do not know what could happen to me as a result, and I do not want to be a casualty of their anger and hatred towards me. You take care.

My mom too. Always angry, hardly apologizes. How did that affect you and your choices and decisions going forward? Does it make you self doubt?
