Oh my ! AIRBUS Boss just revealed new secret weapon engine ? It's cool ! I think I better choose AIRBUS over BOEING for Indonesian aviation relationship especially Garuda Indonesia as I wanted if Indonesian flag carrier/Indonesia's National Airline didn't want to get corruption case anymore forever and ever.

Instead of endlessly repeating "supply chain issues" why don't you use this time to explain what these "supply chain issues" actually are?

We all know about the vocal aircraft fanboys, but we must not ignore the engine manufacturer ones.
On paper, the P&W GTF design is better than the CFM LEAP. It is demonstrably more fuel efficient. This is probably the statistics most latched onto by its fanboys.
However, this is far from the full story.
Regardless of whatever statistics you selectively chose, as well as those you ignore, it is the bottom line that matters every time. This includes the far more difficult to quantify reliability and maintenance costs, as mentioned in this video. It must be acknowledged that an aircraft on the ground incurrs its own costs as well as the loss of profit from fare paying passengers and compensation for delays, cancellations, and re-routing - possibly even with a competitor.
At the moment, CFM appears to be well ahead when these are taken into account.
As sure as I am about P&W eventually sorting the issues and clearing the unprecedented backlog, I am sure that CFM will also continue to tweak and enhance their LEAP engine.
Interesting times ahead, especially if RR successfully scale their Ultrafan to compete with the P&W and CFM offerings.
