When the producer of military equipement have the right to say if it alowes sale and donations of it to other countries, like we now see with the war in Ukraine. Ukraine have goten a lot uf US made wepons, donato by USA allied nations, but have not been alowed, by USA, to use it into russia. And now they have re-elected this wana-be dictator who says he dont care about Europe and thretening to take USA out of Nato. I think European countries are smart to not buy from the USA. It could get them into difficult situations in the future. Even buying a Boeing passenger plane comes with a risk. We saw that in october 2018 when a 5 month old 737 Max plane lost its engine departing Dubai. It had to go down in Iran. It stayed in Iran until February before they where able to get it out. A few days later all 737 max, all over the world was grounded. The 737 have newer carried anny passengers since it went down in Iran over 6 years ago. I think the good advice is to stay away from buying any thing US made.
Hey ! I remember this, it's the AIRBUS A330 mrtt. I really heard about Indonesia will bought AIRBUS A330 mrtt for Indonesian National Army Air Force as Prabowo Subianto bought. But, Prabowo Subianto has already become the new Indonesia's President now after Joko Widodo has already step down for the end of era. Oh, not only AIRBUS A330 mrtt that Indonesia bought it for military. Even from AIRBUS A400m, AIRBUS Helicopter, AIRBUS fighter plane, HELI AKS, HELI H225M and Rafale's fighter plane that Indonesia bought it for military too.
Russia already dominates in the nuclear energy industry, and now in electric gas generation .
Unfortunately for Boeing, the issues experienced by the USAF are the best sales pitch for the Airbus. Having an aircraft based on a civillian airliner at the end of its production life (with just the existing freighter orders to be fulfilled) v one now to be based on a significant recent upgrade to the civillian version has to help. The civilian version of the Airbus is starting to see increasing orders, so it presumably benefits more from ongoing economies of scale, whereas the Boeing only benefits from economies ontained through its own increased orders.
The MRTT is the better aircraft with the better fuel refueling system. The US government overruled the USAF's decision.

The USAF got an aircraft it did'nt want, they wanted the MRTT, but Boeing got it's lobbiests to lobby in Congress & the politicians killed the MRTT. So well done USA your Air Force got a plane it did'nt want, & look at the trouble they've had with it since.

Just for the title, you can forget about it. The petulance of trying to face off the C-130 on equal terms and claiming that it destroys it… wake up and smell the coffee. The C-130 is established all over NATO. You don’t take down a proven airplane like that. Nor do you call it rubbish. Time will tell how long the 390 will last and how deep it can penetrate the market. It may be the new kid on the block, but it still has a lot to prove. It’s an interesting project, a clone from the Kawasaki C1, so take off points for creativity. Many other countries participated in the project, meaning that this cannot be considered a full blown Embraer airplane. Too much foreign engineering. So tone down with the bragging, and let time reveal who is best. Also, Brazil isn’t part of NATO, which doesn’t make it one bit easy for its implementation in those countries. Any orders will take a lot of time to be fulfilled as production capacity is really small at this point. The 130 will still be around for decades. It could still outlast the 390, who knows? The point is, no one is going to scrap their trusted airplanes to go running to a company that is trying to implement its first military cargo airplane. It’s more complex than just the airplane’s features, it’s also NATO’s ecosystem, it the accumulated knowledge and expertise of the pilots and maintenance staff, and there’s politics also. So maybe people should focus more on improving and less on bragging. Learn to walk before trying to run, and maybe things will turn out fine. Maybe that way Embraer can rebalance its finances, as there is still the small matter of the 3.8 Billion Dollars fine for corruption. Their position isn’t the strongest nor the most desirable. While the civilian part seems healthy in terms of sales, the military division still needs to grow quite a bit. Everything takes time, so keep your head low and your nose to the ground, and maybe Embraer will become the defence company it’s trying to become.

China have faked both their ancient and modern history, their achievements, discoveries and inventions in order appear clever on the world stage. China did not invent nuclear weapons, battle tanks, howitzers, machine guns, fighter jets, helicopters, missiles and rockets, submarines, aircraft carriers, locomotives, hovercraft, plastics, (which is quite ironic really) antibiotics, vaccines, radio, television, x-rays, penicillin, telephone, gunpowder, (China had incendiaries but not explosives) to make gunpowder you need saltpetre which the Chinese did not have until it was brought in by western traders, refrigerator, electricity, light bulb, steam engine, hang glider, hot air balloon, zipper, automobile, pushbike, scooter, motorbike, computer, clock, internet, GPS, semi-conductors, printing press, paper, (Egypt invented paper, papyrus' where the word paper comes from) magnifying glass, ball-point pen, etc.etc.etc.…..as a matter of fact, China have contributed very little to society. Imagine if it were not for the west to steal technology from, the communist clowns would be still grunting on all fours.

Let’s see how that works out when tariffs and sanctions come into play. No plane. Avionics: Critical flight control and navigation systems? Those are courtesy of Honeywell (U.S.). Landing Gear: Provided by Liebherr (Germany/France). Electrical Systems: Powered by components from Eaton (U.S.) and others. Flight Control Actuators: Made by Moog (U.S.), because stable flight isn’t optional. Cockpit Displays: Designed by Rockwell Collins (U.S.), now part of Raytheon. Safety Systems: Fuel and hydraulic systems? That’s Parker Aerospace (U.S.). So, if China’s trying to break free from Western influence, they might want to start by, you know, actually building the plane themselves. But hey, maybe their 'engineers' are too busy reverse-engineering the parts they’ve already got. Add a few tariffs and sanctions to the mix, and good luck getting any more C919s in the air.

You missed my point. Chinese parts in U.S. planes can easily be replaced by domestic manufacturers. However, the systems in the Chinese C919, like the engines, avionics, and safety systems, aren’t easily replaceable because China relies on American and other foreign technology for critical components. They choose American parts because they lack the capability to produce components of comparable quality. Matching the engineering standards of U.S. or Japanese products is a challenge they’ve yet to overcome.
