Almost ruined my favorite white dress after a sneeze earlier this week. Luckily I was at home and noticed the stain right away so I could wash it out before the blood dried and ruined it forever.
These videos make me much more comfortable with my anatomy. A lot of these things have never been publicly and openly discussed like this ever before. I, for example, thought there's something wrong with he because I didn't know discharge on panties is absolutely normal thing that happens to every woman. Thank you, girl. You're not only spreading happiness and laughter but also anatomical awareness and body acceptance. ❤
It sadness me how there's still many girls and women who don't know how their bodies functions, cause parents won't allow you to talk about it and school isn't doing their job by teaching real anatomy and just pass by the basic and do some kind of brain wash/ trauma section about pregnancy and we're done. Hope all the schools can actually teach about real anatomy and body functions one day.

cleaning tip: Always use cold water to remove blood stains. It reacts to hot water similarly to eggs and won't come out easily after that. Just rinse it with cold water (as early as possible) and then put it into the washing mashine
Hydrogen peroxide is great for clearing blood. Fresh blood, though, so if I catch a surprise rather late then I typically don't bother attempting a total save and I have a new pair of period underwear.

I just came out of the bathroom and got the news that my period is starting. One of those lucky times when you get just the hint of a pink in the white paper while drying yourself. Nothing got stained. Got my painkillers, my menstrual cup, my hubby is going to get me chocolate donuts, and I'm laying in a bed with fresh sheets (the ones I use for my period), smelling delicious thanks to the fabric softener, and feeling clean. I asked her what the problem was, he was just holding his face in his hands, shaking his head. She told me that someone at another table said the forbidden word, and he heard it. He can't handle the word discharge. So naturally, I spent the rest of the evening working that lovely word into every bit of conversation. I started by asking if she had heard the story of how our brother-in-law was kicked out of the navy, dishonorable discharge, and it got better from there. It was a fun evening for two of us. 😂🤣😅😂🤣😅
yes! throughout middle school and the period talks, they’d only briefly explain what discharge was and why it happened. never how to deal with it or anything like that. i do think it should be discussed more often.
for all girls it this ever happens with period blood use salt and boiling water first dampen where the blood is and put alot of salt on that part and it will lift most of the blood then leave them to soak in boiling hot water and more salt works like a treat ❤️❤️ thank my dad for this one ❤️🙌🏻

Save the expensive underpants from stains with pantyliners. And save the stained ones for the last day before you expect to start, and if you can time it right, they can be washed and ready by the last day when you expect it to be ended. Otherwise you will be throwing away a pair or 2 every month.
@@deborahhanna9126 but with liners, i was told not to wear them too often due to yeast infections. cotton is a lot more breathable than liners, and all of that accumulated moisture can lead to infections

Hey I have a tip for this actually!! Put just a bit of hydrogen peroxide on the blood then clean it under warm water. Repeat that until it looks mostly gone and/or dosent bubble when you pour peroxide on it. Then just wait for it to dry and throw it in the wash ❤️❤️
Good luck, depending on a womans age and if she has had children already its apparently hard to get a hysterectomy for not strictly medical reasons, even for those with very painful periods.
What I usually do when I don’t have access to the washer and this happens is that I wash the clothes whit cold water and rub of the stain. It comes of really easily. I did this whit a pair of white boxers and then I just hung them up and waited for laundry day a week later. The funny thing is that my male food tech teacher gave all the girls this tip, when we learned how to wash out different kinds of stains. Edit: correction, he assumed we all knew this, but this is the first time I heard about this trick.

If this happens, I would suggest soaking the pants in water, or using a product to help. I often use a certain SHOUT a spray and it takes the blood right out, and it works on other stains (food dye, marker, etc.)

Lol about the discharge... it's a pH thing, it's actually acidic enough to bleach fabric (that's normal and not a problem)
