This review saved me a whole lot more than $550 (CAD) and I appreciate your candor more than words can express!! I was actually comparing prices for this yesterday, and had pretty much decided to buy it, but something made me hesitate. I think I'll treat myself to new filters for ol' faithful, my 3M respirator ($35 CAD for 6), and hit the hardwood dealer for some fun! Thanks so much!
Thank you for the review! Definitely helped me make a decision. I keep my half face respirator in a large zip lock bag when not in use to keep it clean.
Oh no. A. little too late mine came yesterday and the battery is charging. I was looking at the power cap which is supposed to be lighter but everywhere I looked Anister didn't sell to the states. So I just looked it up to find the name and I see one for $579 put it in my cart and it did not bounce so I guess they sell in the States. What is the saying "if it was not for bad luck I would have no luck at all".
yeah i agree about the weight, very heavy.also ive had to replace the cheap plastic head band twice because it kept breaking.400 helmet with a 4 dollar band ! i dont recommend it.
Neck and back problems? Seriously? It's 900 grams... The Gen 2 is over 1300🤔 I received mine last week, its sensational especially as I can use my glasses underneath for detail work. Clean, fresh air, no fogging. I've heard the early ones had a strap issue that was resolved under warranty. Filters are less than $30 usd
I agree... at first I thought it was the greatest thing. I where glasses too when turning and with no fog and fresh cool air was nice. It could be I'm turning small items and not standing up straight, but after leaning over my projects from start to finish the heavy head began to take it's toll. As for the cost, filters I see on Amazon are $60. Again, my review is just my opinion. Others may love it and not have any issue with it. I wore a kevlar helmet in the army for 3yrs and don't remember having neck/back issues, but I could be getting soft. Thanks for your input and I'm glad you like yours.

Thats a great point! I would rather spend the money on more wood.

That's a great idea too.

@@movingchips $60 for filters ...wow😱
I guess we're lucky... I pay £23
Thanks for the video. I think I will just keep my dust mask.
Good choice!
No excuse for the company charging $60 for filters. Just taking advantage of the customer.
True
I came to the and conclusion, too heavy and hurts my neck after 15 minutes. Wish I didn’t buy it.
Yup a real pain in the neck and less money in the wallet. 😞
