It’s very simple.. here’s my challenge to anyone who thinks the stock intake is better… you beat any of Ideal’s draggy times with valid runs on stock intake I will revert my intake back to stock.. The reality is you can check your intake temps all day, if you can’t beat their quarter mile time it’s all null and void.
@ModdedMotors NO doubt brutha. As Alfa owners, we are a niche group. So we gonna get a lot of hate. And there aren't that many of us... A lot of people that buy the QV, they look down on 2.0 people. And that's OK. Dont let it get to you primo. Just keep doing you. And thanks again.
I subscribed today and I am making a purchase of the stelvia because of you guys lol I know my experience may be different but I appreciate you guys and your review etc I’m here to support and stay regardless of my experience you guys are great people thanks 🙏
Second! I think lol. I looove this and I now need it ! I was super convinced I was going to get the euro v2, but now that I see this, I want this more bc I am obsessed with carbon. Haha! great vid as always you two! Keep up the good work, v informative.
You are second 😅 honestly I kept this video strictly about ideal, but definitely have opinions about the 2 intake. I’ll make another video dedicated to that. Definitely highly recommended Ideal.
Great video. Are you guys considering getting sponsored by Squadra for their hybrid turbo and tune? there's hardly any videos on YT and I see an opportunity for channel growth and content. keep up the good work
Being my first Alfa, and driving Chevy and Fords for almost 30 years.....these prices are crazy high! I get that its Carbon fiber, but no pipe and filter is worth $700. That's tune pricing
Oh man welcome to the club, I come from the JDM world and it’s pennies on the dollar. Buttt unfortunately there’s just a premium on parts for this brand.
i understand it’s carbon fiber, but when i bought the V4 intake from EC i thought that was crazy priced but the intake temps drew me to it…it does look sick though
Haven’t seen the whole video. Which I will but this question popped up in my head while watching small clips. Did you get any cluster lights when replacing this?
Does anyone know how this compares to the EC V2 I'm trying to purchase a intake for Black Friday but I'm stuck between those two and the EC v4 if it helps I plan to do hybrid turbo and tune in the future
@@ModdedMotors yeah I like the idea of the best and I think it looks the best too. I saw your comments about it being hot air intake and actually losing power so I was concerned
Don’t let people stress you, more air to forced induction always will create more power. Heat is controlled by your cooling system , and ours are on the side lol. You won’t see any power loss
It depends there’s really little difference without additional add ons. When you add tunes and bigger turbos thats where the intake is really excels. Most people saying that are either regurgitating information they heard from a forum in the 2000’s or talking about a 80’s American car. If you see any big turbo car… no one ever says give me a smaller intake for restricted flow.
You are really buying the hype from the seller. 😂 I went through the same argument with the Fiesta ST guys and the stock intake was still the best because hot under hood air doesn't increase performance! And I can guarantee if they did do dyno testing the had fans blowing right on the intake with the hood open, exactly what you wouldn't experience on the road where you'd get no air flow at a traffic light and lots of heat soak.
@@neilchirico I’m not buying the hype from the seller at all lol unless you test the temps in your car or can show better drag times with your set up it’s all null and void. People want to argue with numbers and that’s where you lose me. I never said just throw it on and enjoy.. quite literally said with supporting mods they achieved 12.32 quarter mile. If you have a better set up and you believe that keep your stock intake. Me personally?? I’m going to go hybrid and want a bigger inlet for more flow to my turbo. I’d rather save the 4lbs. I’d rather hear my turbo and enjoy my car. In a turbocharged engine, the need for and use of a Cold Air Intake System is typically not deemed necessary or very useful. The turbocharger superheats the cooler air it receives from the intake before passing it to the intercooler.
Even if we disregard their dyno charts and draggy time slips… it’s pretty easy to understand. The only people who say “hot air” are people regurgitating incorrect information. I’ve never heard of anyone boosted saying let me have restricted air flow. Your cooling comes from your Intercooler.

Got the alfissimo tune and now the intake thanks man
Do you have to tune up after this intake or you can just swap it out and that’s it?
@vincenzoselli8505 swap and you’re done 🙌🏽
I've been gone for a lil bit... but good to watch this channel. You test all the viable mods and it's greatly appreciated!
Man I greatly appreciate you! We’ve had a ton of negativity lately. These comments make our entire day. Appreciate you more than you know!

@izzyiz810 1000% accurate! I appreciate the kind words bro, for real. Trying not it get to me lol 😂

I appreciate you so much! Welcome to the club! I think you’ll throughly enjoy the Stelvio! We greatly appreciate your support!
Best quality to the video. Feel the lighting of the camera looks good
Thank you brotha! Appreciate you noticing! Definitely tried to focus on lighting, trying to get slightly better each video.
Not only does it look like $$$ (awesome!), it actually improves performance, so it’s a win win in my books! Great stuff as always guys love it!! 👍👍
Thank you brotha! I think it’s super cool! I think it’ll be one of the better options out there for 2.0 intakes

Dude you gotta make more videos, I enjoy watching
I appreciate that brotha! Every Tuesday until I can start cranking more out! Happy to finally be on a schedule.
ordered mine just now...can't wait..thanks for the videos
Appreciate the support! Glad you enjoyed the content!
Sounds so good and looks freaking amazing. Now I have to swap over from EC’s intake to Ideals 😅
I think more people will be making that switch 😅
Superb video, thanks. I love this mod!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Ideal dp and tune after the body kit goes on?? 👀 Great video as always!
Great video. Are you guys considering getting sponsored by Squadra for their hybrid turbo and tune? there's hardly any videos on YT and I see an opportunity for channel growth and content. keep up the good work
Definitely in the works!
Squadra tunning mine as we speak and order this cold air intake
🤝

It does look really nice.
Thanks ! I thought so too
could you possible test out their tune i would love to see how it performs
Maybe in the future!
Getting a stage 1 done but this is getting ordered now
i understand it’s carbon fiber, but when i bought the V4 intake from EC i thought that was crazy priced but the intake temps drew me to it…it does look sick though
I'm out at $800. Great looking piece and was going to try it at $400. I get why it cost as much as it does though.
Totally understand, maybe you can get one second hand in the future. They are really nice pieces. Unfortunately carbon parts are always a premium.
Thanks!
This means the world, not because of the money but the sentiment.
Are you going to try Ideals ECU tune? Says can run E85 on stock fuel system the numbers look crazy
Haven’t seen the whole video. Which I will but this question popped up in my head while watching small clips. Did you get any cluster lights when replacing this?
None at all
How does it compare to the EC? I actually prefer the looks of the red EC but this one sounds nice
This one does sound nice, and much lighter. I was going to add some differences between the two but ima going to do it in a separate video.
I have a giulia carbon package rwd lsd, I want to run the full ideal E85, downpipes, what exhaust and other things should i pair with it?
Really you don’t need much other than an exhaust and potentially race mode. Centerline is good or any 3” exhaust is solid.
Could you use the stock air box and just use the intake tube?
I’d assume you can
Does anyone know how this compares to the EC V2 I'm trying to purchase a intake for Black Friday but I'm stuck between those two and the EC v4 if it helps I plan to do hybrid turbo and tune in the future
I’ll do a video for you; but I recommend ideal. Ideal is a few pounds lighter and it doesn’t matter who’s turbo you go with.

Question i know this is months ago but is this intake carb legal?
Isn’t a closed box better for performance?

I am scared to do anything to my Giulia awd. Started car and steering rack failed . $6750
Is the price right price $1,799 price increase !! $1,000 bucks
Right now it’s listed at $650. Their QV one is listed at $1,599
Could you please tell me the color code of the car
Nissan midnight purple
Keep the stock with a dropin filter and throw in a DEI kit call it a day....lol
Works good for sure, Ideal has the quickest times for a 2.0 and achieved it with the carbon intake. Pretty excited to see what they do
What e85 i need a review
E85 is a type of gas, I definitely plan on making a video in the future.
Bro!
Impossible to follow the instructions. I’m sad.
lol best I could do
👍👋🍀⚪🔴

Yeah, nothing adds horsepower like sucking in hot engine bay air.
it’s where the stock air filter is too broski loool learn about cars
