It’s very simple.. here’s my challenge to anyone who thinks the stock intake is better… you beat any of Ideal’s draggy times with valid runs on stock intake I will revert my intake back to stock..
The reality is you can check your intake temps all day, if you can’t beat their quarter mile time it’s all null and void.
Got the alfissimo tune and now the intake thanks man

Are you going to try Ideals ECU tune? Says can run E85 on stock fuel system the numbers look crazy

i understand it’s carbon fiber, but when i bought the V4 intake from EC i thought that was crazy priced but the intake temps drew me to it…it does look sick though
I have a giulia carbon package rwd lsd, I want to run the full ideal E85, downpipes, what exhaust and other things should i pair with it?
Really you don’t need much other than an exhaust and potentially race mode. Centerline is good or any 3” exhaust is solid.
How does it compare to the EC? I actually prefer the looks of the red EC but this one sounds nice
This one does sound nice, and much lighter. I was going to add some differences between the two but ima going to do it in a separate video.
Does anyone know how this compares to the EC V2 I'm trying to purchase a intake for Black Friday but I'm stuck between those two and the EC v4 if it helps I plan to do hybrid turbo and tune in the future
I’ll do a video for you; but I recommend ideal. Ideal is a few pounds lighter and it doesn’t matter who’s turbo you go with.

Don’t let people stress you, more air to forced induction always will create more power. Heat is controlled by your cooling system , and ours are on the side lol. You won’t see any power loss
I am scared to do anything to my Giulia awd. Started car and steering rack failed . $6750
I'm out at $800. Great looking piece and was going to try it at $400. I get why it cost as much as it does though.
Totally understand, maybe you can get one second hand in the future. They are really nice pieces. Unfortunately carbon parts are always a premium.
Isn’t a closed box better for performance?
It depends there’s really little difference without additional add ons. When you add tunes and bigger turbos thats where the intake is really excels. Most people saying that are either regurgitating information they heard from a forum in the 2000’s or talking about a 80’s American car. If you see any big turbo car… no one ever says give me a smaller intake for restricted flow.
You are really buying the hype from the seller. 😂 I went through the same argument with the Fiesta ST guys and the stock intake was still the best because hot under hood air doesn't increase performance! And I can guarantee if they did do dyno testing the had fans blowing right on the intake with the hood open, exactly what you wouldn't experience on the road where you'd get no air flow at a traffic light and lots of heat soak.
@@neilchirico I’m not buying the hype from the seller at all lol unless you test the temps in your car or can show better drag times with your set up it’s all null and void. People want to argue with numbers and that’s where you lose me. I never said just throw it on and enjoy.. quite literally said with supporting mods they achieved 12.32 quarter mile. If you have a better set up and you believe that keep your stock intake. Me personally?? I’m going to go hybrid and want a bigger inlet for more flow to my turbo. I’d rather save the 4lbs. I’d rather hear my turbo and enjoy my car.
In a turbocharged engine, the need for and use of a Cold Air Intake System is typically not deemed necessary or very useful. The turbocharger superheats the cooler air it receives from the intake before passing it to the intercooler.

Even if we disregard their dyno charts and draggy time slips… it’s pretty easy to understand.
The only people who say “hot air” are people regurgitating incorrect information. I’ve never heard of anyone boosted saying let me have restricted air flow. Your cooling comes from your Intercooler.
