    Great explanation... Should we use this tracking template on campaign level or account level or what?
    And, what will be good for tracking URL parameters or tracking template under google ads?

    Great overview, Thank you. Do you have to enter the UTM terms into Google analytics before you use them? Like as a provision. Or does Google analytics detect that you're using UTM tracking automatically start collecting the data it receives in the URL parameters?

    Hey Michelle nice video as always!! When we have the auto tagging feature on Google & Bing ads is it a good idea to manually append the URL across these platforms???

      i have recently attended to Create UTM paratmater for UA-cam ads but did not work. Now just tracking in analytics under video camp section. Is there any way to use UTM parameter for UA-cam ads campaign ?

    Thanks for the great Video! Is it possible to use dynamic parameter for the source as well? So you could use the same link for Facebook, Insta and Twitter for example and the source parameter automaticalle extracts the source from the name of the website?

      Hi Timmy, great idea. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, there isn't a way to use dynamic source parameters for these channels. The same goes for medium. I do like to keep all other UTMs consistent with autotagging as much as possible, but source and medium usually need to be manually added into the query string.

    I set up UTM tracking for a PDF file but it doesn't show in my GA reports. Any suggestions? Thanks

      Pretty much won’t work because you can’t put GA on a PDF file. Best case scenario is to send users to a page where they can download the PDF and track the download clicks with Google Tag Manager.
