Video Hook and Hold surprised me, most of them I was actually tracking. I am using 'average video view time' as an alternative to Video hook and hold but this can be a good metric to track from now. Also Outbound CTR was a good explanation and this will be my immediate change in columns😅.
Really interesting Video! I am using a lot of these custom metrics, but do like to run my metrics from left to right so it resembles the funnel/flow. So Impression>Video Hook>Video Hold>Unique outbound Clicks>unique OUtbound CTR>Landing page Views>VC>ATC>IC>Pur (with things like conversion rate and result rate, ROAS etc at the start just for ease of use.) I find it lets you visualize any drop-offs. Keep up the amazing content!

Also, I have tested a new creative for a new product, but Facebook, it has higher than average LP.View Rate (70%+) and the video hook is 50% (all others creatives have a video hook of 30-35%), but this one creative doesn't convert very well. What you think could be the problem?

I am guessing there are a lot of people out there now who think CBO is the best way to go. But now that Facebook removed the ability for us to see which combination works best from the CBO campaign. It forces us to go back to ABO. When you are launching new campaigns with creatives, do you start with CBO campaigns to bulk check the creative content and then select winning CBO campaigns and start digging into the top-performing content with ABO campaigns? Or do you find this to be too labor-intensive lengthy of a process to get much return on that strategy?

when you duplicate a campaign it gets in the learning phase again so you dont want to duplicate, the best way to scale is to increase the budget a little and see what happens

All CTR also shows clicks that go to the social profile and clicks on the ad unit and multiple clicks on the CTA. I like looking at the unique ones to the LP only.
@@DaraDenney yeah, I was referring to going for UNIQUE outbound ctr vs just overall outbound CTR. Unique is based on reach, overall based on impressions. So you prefer to base the CTR as a percentage of people reached vs total impressions?
