  • This is the third episode in a running series where I cover and explore the timeline of genshin impact, something that is known for being long and convoluted. The length of this video goes to show that this reputation is not unwarranted.

    So, regarding Ei,
As far as i remember, Ei gave up her mortal body to let makoto rule and became her shadow warrior. Later, makoto reforged her physical body and thus returning ei back to her side again.

Here's a mind f-ked theory by myself, We Know when Phanes took over rule of the world from the 7 Sovereigns, he banished all those Vishaps that went against him to live under the ocean (He created a new realm/bubble). Coincidentally we have Enkanomiya now also located in the underground realm, this happen because after the second who came may have won the battle against Phanes they then did the same reset of the world, they banished the first/unified human civilization to live in under the ocean (another realm) and recreated Teyvat, a world in their own interpretation.
This first civilization/original humans from Phanes time are 1 in the same as the Khanaeriahns. Khanaeriah is located underground/in a realm between Teyvat and the Abyss. This means Khanaeriah is just another name of the 1st civilization that got adopted as the passage of time passes. This is why Dainslief saw such a huge similarity with the upside down ruin in the chasm to his homeland Khanaeriah. And that same ruin is the same as the one found in Enkanomiya. They are all 1 in the same.
Now here is the twister, if Phanes banished the Vishaps under the ocean, then The second who came banished the first human civilization under the ocean then we can say the Abyss is the land of banished Vishaps.
Why isn't both Vishaps and 1st Civilization located on the same plane. It's because though they are underground, each are a different realm/bubble. Phanes created his own bubble/realm for the banished Vishaps. Then the second who came create their own bubble/realm for the banished 1st Civilization. Both these realms are devoid of a true sky, technically these realms are a Prison for the banished.
    Before Phanes came:
    O - Civilization or the 7 Sovereigns /Vishaps
    Before the second who came:
    0 - 1st civilization
    O - Banished Vishaps Realm
    After the second who came:
    o - Teyvat
    0 - 1st Civilization/ Khanaeriah
    O - Banished Vishaps/ Abyss
This means the only way to go to Khanaeriah or the Abyss is through a space time travel, since technically we are traveling from one universe to another. We already have such things in game, Remember how you first get to Musk Reef/Spiral Abyss, it's through a "Time Tunnel" or wormhole in the sky. What's hilarious is the achievement you get for travelling like this for the first time is called "Initiating Warp Drive" lol..
But why would I say the Vishaps are the Abyss, well we know Vishaps are capability of human speech and comprehension from LIMITED research and knowledge from Enkanomiya records.
We know, Enjou and other Abyssal creatures may have the ability to shapeshift. We know also they are capable of using all the elements without a vision, or delusion but from pure compatibility. The 7 Sovereigns are creatures of the light realm, and they are pure elemental creatures. The Abyss Lectors/Heralds are pure elemental creatures, even the mages. What may confuse people is what about the hiluchurls, the husks etc.. hiluchurls and husks aren't Abyssal creatures they are cursed humans of the past after the second who came.
Now the way Genshin titles the chapter we are currently playing "Teyvat Chapter", to me this is very ominous. I feel after we reach the end of this chapter, another heir will arrive, and do the same as the others. They will banish Teyvat under the ocean/another Realm and create another new world.
Note: when they refer to under the ocean, it's not physically under water. Genshin seems to link the ocean to space or the void.

Primordial One's civilization is Teyvat itself. And that second who came is Celestia. That's the difference between the two. Now the only thing that Celestia does is to destroy all that remains of the Civilizations left by Phanes the Primordial One.

Makes sense why Ocean & Void or space are interlinked because i remember someone theorise that Teyvat itself was an artificial environment of a planet. One where it's so unnatural looking and so warped by all of those who came and shape the world in their own way, that only the Primordial water remains as the only true and original thing on this planet.

It was weird seeing this much hate directed towards Enkanomiya, since all I remember from it were absolutely stunning visuals and a beautiful, yet melancholic OST. But this is probably Part of the reason why you hate it so much(?), since I can't remember much else about exept maybe some annoying mechanics.

It’s not that I hate Enka itself, I think the lore is cool and it’s visually stunning, I just don’t like how it’s like 90% of Inazuma. The fact that the only reason Inazuma is even slightly relevant still is *because* of Enka’s lore. I wanted Inazuma to stand on its own but it most definitely doesn’t

@@WhaleMilk yeah I get that.. It really is a shame Inazuma doesn't have more to it.

Primordial One is OG Celestia. Now the second one is an invader. Some of the dragons were subjected to the rule of Teyvat, but others resisted.

21:00 so about the serai island,
again as far as i remember, the remains of thunder bird( killed by shogun )were sealed on serai island's temple, so hibiki unseals the shit and it goes kaboom causing all the thunderstorm and stuff we see. We even got the flashbacks during 2.8 GAA event(during the quest with kosekimaru/mitoboru/talking boat). Well, we dunno where ako domeki is, probably dead in the depths of ocean lmao. (sorry)

I feel like if you're trying to abridge a timeline of events, you should try to remain impartial with your own opinions. I don't disagree that Inazuma's archon quest was pretty lame, but videos like these should stay objective.
