HUGE thank you to the Cajun Gun Works team! You guys got me through this reassembly. I installed one of y'alls triggers and various other upgrades. I wanted to throw the damn thing at the wall more than a few times but by knowing when to set it down and coming back after a break helped me get through it. You guys definitely make it look easy which is a testament at the level of skill and know how on display here. I called in one time when I got stuck and you walked me through it. You guys are the ABSOLUTE best. Thank you! I can't wait to hit the range!
Since I just bought one of these I decided to watch this video from start to finish. What I learned was I won't be taking this pistol apart aside from general cleaning. Nice Job. .
Just finished the P-01 Pro couldn't have done it without the video, being dyslectic and all Had a few bumps but the last sear cage went smooth and didn't lose the L spring. Thanks CGW
wow, you weren't kidding about the factory retaining pin. Even with the tool you guys recommend that took a lot of hammering to get that out. CZs are great guns, but damn some of the internal features are hilariously over complicated. Appreciate you posting this as it helped with my entire parts install. The tips and tricks were nice, although I was losing it at some parts where you made steps look super easy, but they were far from it haha.
I appreciate the effort of making the video. If there is any way to get a closer clearer picture of the actions that would be great. I would love to see a beginning to end of cajunizing a P01 plus polishing/installing new parts.
I have a pack of those Zeiss towelettes for my glasses, but they also work great on cleaning my laptop camera for when I have to use it for Zoom calls or whatever. They also work great on portable devices. I'm sure Cajun has something like that around the shop, and maybe they will see your comment and mine and try that to resolve the issue for future videos. :-)
Thank you for this! This video was SO helpful! I did run into issue where sear spring needs to have the small arm riding on the sear to push down. It wasn't clear in this video and I had to take apart again. Also, the trigger pin can be used as a slave pin. I also used the hammer main spring retaining pin as another slave pin to for the make it easier to drop in springs in the sear cage. The difference with this kit blows my mind. Just night and day, well worth the money. Thank you Cajun Gunworks!
CZ's only need lube in the right areas. This was for demo purposes and for the sake of clarity we did not lube this as we assembled. Owners manual typically shows where to lube.
Thank you for this video. It was a bit difficult to see exactly what you were detailing in a few spots, but overall this was very helpful. I have a PCR with the pro package installed. I knew it was beyond my skills, so I had a local smith install. Bought him a bottle of his favorite adult beverage as a bonus. I love how much it was improved. That pistol is my EDC and I think I will place in my will that it goes in the box with me - for whatever comes next. 😉
Thanks a bunch .. any chance you could improve the resolution on future videos and start with high contrast clean mat that would really help with details . Close up angles would also help .. Luv them Cz's playing back at .75% speed helps with content , maybe on post edit you all should slow it 10-12% , will improve viewer experience and not distort audio........ btw , I too use a roll of tape as a bench block ..lol 👍👍
Outstanding i buy yesterday an 75 P-01 i disassembly any peace to clean up well the only difficulty i have was the trigger spring but i built an slave pin no problem but this CZ guns are an master peace great GUNS THANKS great video my freind
Thank you for making and sharing this video. I would just like to add that in the future if you could use a clean white mat for a better contrast. More close-up shots would also be nice especially when working with tiny parts. Still, a great tutorial. Much appreciated.
I thought a full strip and detail of a 1911 was alot at first this seems a little overkill I really like this gun tho I've held a few in the stores they have an amazing trigger but man that seems like a nightmare to breakdown and put back together
Thank you for this video! Very informative and I learned a couple of new techniques to put my P01 and other decocker models back together. KEEP ON ROCKING!
No, the Omega internals are completely different from the traditional lockwork. Please view our P-09 video which has the omega internals. Even though it's a polymer frame the process is still the same.
Hey I aye dirt last week training with my p01 and jammed the bottom of the grip into the ground and now my mecgar magazines are tight and have to be pried out when before they’d drop freely everytime. My standard magazines still work perfect. It looks like they’re tight against the sear cage now and idk if this is a simple fix or if I bent my frame a tiny bit ): I was planning on getting it cut for an optic soon too and now I’m having some buyers remorse
Hey friend I watched the video you have for adding cgw upgrades in omega compact, I didn’t everything correctly checked twice, Decocker now walking out of place, didn’t do that before. How do I fix; what am I missing
Thank you for very informative video. One question about removing the firing pin roll pin retainer, does it matter removing the pin from left to right or right to left and does it matter. Now I know for a fact, I ain’t gonna go no further then the slide and firing pin upper. Forget the lower 😂 If I was to do this I’ld be sending a basket case to y’all.
I’m having issues , when you put the sear cage back and installed the mainspring back when you pull the trigger it keeps shooting and the hammer keeps firing , it doesn’t do that on mine it decocks and fires in both SA & DA but doesn’t keep firing like yours is doing at 26:26
It's the same process except on the right side of the decocker arm you need to remove the lever. It isn't one peice and can be separated. Typically a small punch to help press on the spring to help remove the lever is required.
It’s 2023 why it look foggy low res. As someone with shitty eyesight and with something with such small part I’d wish they use a better quality camera.

My P01 is down there with you all now.....I absolutely cannot wait to get it back and try it with the work you all are doing to it.
What does it cost?
Just finished the P-01 Pro couldn't have done it without the video, being dyslectic and all

Thanks for the vid. I noticed on reassembly, none of the parts were lubricated. Interested to know what parts we should be lubricating? Thanks
Thank you for the indepth video. I Cajunized a P-01 Steel Frame and now I want to cajunized my P-01 Decocker. This video will help immensely.

Fantastic work my friend! This video was excellently filmed and explained!!!! Thank you kindly for sharing this information with us!!!
Thank you for the video! It was much better then the one I seen on y’all’s website. Not sure if this one is on there or not, but glad I found it!

Thank you for the feedback. Hopefully when we get a little better setup for filming we can make a video that is a little easier to follow along with.

THANKS great video my freind
Great video- so helpful, well shot, and informative.
Any word on when the polishing guide is going to come out?
I just got a used SP01 Tactical with the CGW upgrades and it's *slick*
Thank you for making and sharing this video. I would just like to add that in the future if you could use a clean white mat for a better contrast. More close-up shots would also be nice especially when working with tiny parts. Still, a great tutorial. Much appreciated.
Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and experience .
It is absolutely our pleasure!
Please do a video showing your method of reinserting the mag release spring. Thanks
When, why and how often does this gun need taken down like this? I’m considering the P01 but this puzzle is a potential deal breaker.
I thought a full strip and detail of a 1911 was alot at first this seems a little overkill I really like this gun tho I've held a few in the stores they have an amazing trigger but man that seems like a nightmare to breakdown and put back together
It is.
Unless you are a tinkerer, stay away.
Awesome videos, thanks a lot
Thank you for this video! Very informative and I learned a couple of new techniques to put my P01 and other decocker models back together. KEEP ON ROCKING!
I have the Omega version. Is the process the same? Please let me know. Thank you for these great videos!

Could you guys please do a proper dessasembly and reinstallation of the slide stop spring and the extractor?
Great job team, keep up the excellent work. 💪🏽
Good job! Thanks for the explanation, bro.
Thanks a lot for the video and it help a lot. Very good video.

No it does not matter if you knock it out right to left, or left to right!
How about a 97BD disassembly and reassembly, please.
What sights are those? I would like to add those to my P-01

What about the ambi de cocker that the tactical has? I’m trying to figure out how to take mine out

Good stuff only thing bf is yall need a better quality camera to record these small springs stuff
Would have loved this vid 5 years ago. Haha. What a nightmare!!
I'm never getting into the guts of a decocker CZ. No f'ng way...
@@thatpointinlife haha smart man! I learned my lesson
It was harder than college physics.
I’m stuck, need to call the pros on Monday
Why are P01's not really in stores anymore? I rarely see them new now
They come from the Czech Republic in batches. We placed an order for 60 first of 2023 and were we told 3 - 6 month delivery. We are still waiting.
forgot about the extractor
Right the pin on mine is rusty and that's the only reason I watched this video
Thanks.
Is this the same as a model with an ambi decocker?
Yes, the only difference is the right side decocker has to come off before the left side can come out.
THANK YOU!!!!!
Awesome video! However I think I’ll stick to Glocks though. Far more simple and easier to work on. Amazing job though nonetheless!
