First time on your channel. Good tutorial. Good video. I particularly like the cameo inset. Nice touch. I operate a NextWave HD520 with their proprietary controller and software and Vectric Aspire. I'd like to add laser functionality. I think that Nexts laser is lacking and not 100% compatible with the Vectric laser module. Can you tell us more about your set-up. Obviously the Vectric laser module supports the JTech laser. Do you know if there's a way to marry the Vectric and JTech into a NextWave CNC. Thanks
Thanks for watching! My Jtech Laser was specifically designed to operate with the Onefinity software. Vcarve Pro uses the Onefinity desktop coding for both cnc and laser use. I do know Jtech has other laser kits and they may have something compatible with the NextWave. I would suggest contacting Jtech to see if they have any options for you. I don't know enough about Jtech branding to give you a quality answer. Hopefully that was a little helpful 👍
That came out pretty awesome, nice job! I would not have thought to use a laser to cut the oramask. That could really speed up some sign jobs. You may have just sold a laser for the onefinity. 👍
The laser does not include any software at all. Vectric has added laser software you purchase to add to Vcarve Pro or Aspire. It is actually called "laser module". I think it was about $50 to purchase - one time purchase. I learned to use lightburn software too, it was less than $100 and works with any laser. I like the versatility of the vcarve laser module because I can carve out a sign and incorporate the laser into the design easier. The price for just the laser depends on which one you want to add to your onefinity. There are three and they range from estimated $700 to $1300, just check the onefinity site for the exact pricing. Hope that helps! 👍
Are you pleased with the laser from Jtech? I saw that 14 watt was great if you were using it to engrave. Not so much for cutting unless the material is thin. Not sure why you need it to cut through thick material, use the router. Excellent video I ahve subscribed. Mick- Aka The Project Dreamers.
@@twoelmbuilds I just ordered my laser and there are really no good videos but yours. I would love to see more videos from designing to cutting And engraving with the laser.
i need made my cnc 1200x 1000 sign but no smart buy Vcarve only make one big sign. need softwar but no smart pay licence to one big sign. were can download vcarve pro full version can use one sign and test program, vcarve own free version not can make big sign has limited.
Thank you for waking through the the steps on Vetric, and pointing out the different commands. For a Newbie that really helps.
No problem! Thanks for watching 👍
Your videos have inspired me. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a Oneinfinity machine. Thanks!
You will love it! Be patient when you start and take your time! Thanks for watching 👍

Cutting oramask with the laser. Brilliant. Thank you
Thanks for watching 👍
Absolutely awesome video! So informative and you do a very good job explaining the process! Keep up the great work!
Thank you! I appreciate that 👍 glad I could help you with it
Wow very well done
Thanks for watching! 👍
Great video. I would have never thought about using a laser to cut the mask. I can just imagine the fumes!
Yeah, it has a smell and you don't want to breathe that stuff at all! Otherwise, it works great.
Will the 7 watt laser cut the tape as well?
@@robertlombardi880 that's a good question, I haven't used the 7watt, but I bet it would cut through it with a few passes.
Nice tutorial, you have great presentation persona and simplified a comp!ex project.
Thank you and thanks for watching! 👍

Just be sure to have some good ventilation!
@@twoelmbuilds Will do!
Does the laser module include the laser and software, or is it just the software, how much is it?
Thanks

Thanks! I like the Jtech Laser. I use it a few times a month. I would have liked a little more power but it isn't needed.
Do you have more videos with your laser on your Onefinity?
The only other one is the Christmas Ornament video, but I have plans for some more. Is there anything specific you were looking to learn?
