Problem with emulating PS4 is that it's basically a Bloodborne emulator because the majority of PS4s library is now on PC outside of it. But it will be good to play many of its arcade exclusives.

Yes, if you don't mind video and audio issues, intermittent crashes, having to load mods to fix some problems, also compile code, etc.

Already have them setup on my " Emulator SSD" and try with every ShadPS4 if they show something, right now they do nothing. But Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered is fully playable :)

Has anyone gotten the error of: memory.cpp:operator():114: Assertion Failed! Unable to find free direct memory area: size = 0x14f00000. I have 32 ram RTX 3060. Tried it for the UFC 4, but it just crashed before even opening
actually, modern consoles are more like PCs with similar or custom x86 architecture, so in that sense they are looking to be easier to emulate.....in the case of shadPS4 "translate" PS3 is more an anomaly because its architecture was "exotic" with very complex SPUs. XboxOne had less incentive to emulate because of a dev mode built in and cracking xboxone was extremely tough for homebrew ** However Xbox One "emulation" actually Translator is a thing now with Xwine1 and there's another emulator/translator project looking to start up as well. Some xboxone games have also been managed to be "cracked" as well making them possible to be dumped.

This Emulator performance better Than PS3 emulator ? ❤ My PC can run God of WAR Ragnarok on Highest around 120 fps with frame generation, but it's suck with PS3 emulator 😢❤
Emulator performance will always be worse than a PC port. Also, emulation is usually CPU heavy, running a lot of frames on pc games uses GPU so it doesnt translate well. Specially with ps3 that has some games that wont run well no matter the cpu
@@ssjbargainsale I heard that the CPU in the PS3 has a very unusual design, making it significantly different from normal CPUs, which makes it difficult for emulators to be compatible with standard PC CPUs.😅😅

Every time I open the SHADPS4 app it automatically closes out no matter what I do.

whenever I try to play any game the emulator just closes without pop error window or anything. win 10 / i7 10700k / 3070. Everything up to date.
I guess Gravity Rush Remastered just isn't compatible yet.
That and GR2 are the entire reason I wanted this up and running haha.
