@@mitchellbooth8435 Maybe you never saw the movie BUT although called "Kickboxer" the movie centers around Muay Thai fights in BANGKOK with JVD training and learning MUAY THAI ...to train and defeat the MUAY THAI champion in a MUAY THAI fight in Bangkok ....the movie was a world wide box office success both in theatres and home video release and predates Ong Bak by a good 14 years. SO that makes my comment not only correct BUT superior to yours, and within this comment thread, that makes me better than you.

i didnt finally watch this movie until last night. Despite its age and all the action/martial arts movies ive seen beyond 2005, this was still incredibly impressive. i feel like this movie is in a league of its own. More than 20 years after seeing this in theaters it's still incredible and I haven't seen anything quite like it since. Everything opens with his opponent getting stomped to the floor in some way that would end a street fight instantly. A lot of it is how muay thai moves but Tony Jaa always has such huge momentum in all of his movements in Ong Bak, and such intensity especially when "it's on" and he just drops stance entirely with efficient and effective minimal defensive movements. These early scenes were more relaxed but he can be terrifying and awesome in Ong Bak in a way I personally think second only to Bruce Lee and in perfect balance (later movies they have him way over the top). I love how in the film they don't send anyone flying on ropes, but elbows and knees are legitimately the tools for how a smaller guy would drop a giant.

    Thank You ❤❤❤.

Tony Jaa: more action, storyline and dramatic. (Ong Bak).
Julie Estelle (HammerGirl): play more sadistic, bloody and brutal. (The Night Come For Us, The Raid 2 and Rumah Dara / Macabre).
Suzana: play as the mystical, referred to as the legend of the horror queen.
      I like everything. ❤️
