ok im having issues with the routing in kontakt, i do it exactly as you do in the video but my reaper loads aux 1 2 3 and 4 after st.1 and then kontakt does the same and it seems like the routing is messing up somewhere? do you have a default preset file for your kontakt? because I noticed you already had all your channels made there first. my kontakt only starts with st1 and then aux 1 2 3 and 4???
Hmm sounds weird. In kontakt under the GGD kit there's a section with "Outputs". Next to it there's "Presets / Batch Configuration". Click on Preset/Batch and the last option is Reset Output Section. That should default you with st.1 --> st.16. If you need more for Modern and Massive or other kits then just hit the + next to Outputs. "Number of Channels" leave as 2 (stereo), then just change "Quantity" to whatever you want, 20/24 etc etc. If you hit complete rock bottom I'd just delete Kontakt and try a fresh install and hope it comes with default settings.

Ok got to this point, I previously have all our band tracks recorded with an electronic kit, mapped the kit to match MT Power Drums. Now want to change all the drum sounds to the One Kit Metal kit, how is the easiest way to convert the midi file to work with GGD?
There are midi converters but they work with varying success. Honestly if it’s just one or two midis just move them manually. If this was a common workflow for you I’d say have a look at making a midi map inside of ggd to map to mt power drum, but if it’s a one off just move the notes, should take like 3 minutes
@@ampspedalspickups so I tried that actually, copied in one of the drum loops from ggd into reaper using kontakt. @@joshtsavo7154 if the midi is on there and its not firing then I'd say kontakt is not set to "Omni". It's up the top buried somewhere.
