Hopefully, I bought some stuff before the prices skyrocketed on the 2nd hand market: I'd be unable to buy the full MoogerFooger collection (w. two delays for stereo) now: the prices have gone totally insane... For the Rig-A, which I designed for easy transport with no compromises on quality, it's in a SKB RLX-6 so it can be moved like a Samsonite, then... - Mesa Triaxis - Marshall EL84-20/20 (often overlooked... by people who never gave a try... This thing is damn great: it's filled with parts you usually only find on boutique amps! Note I also own other amps, racked or not. If I need more power, I can take another poweramp with me, but it rarely happened) - Lexicon MPX-G2 - Eventide Eclipse - Sound Sculpture Switchblade GL - 1U rack with Tetris-like stuffed stompboxes circuits - 2x Electrovoice TL806/EVM12L (guess why I rarely needed more than the 2x20W, in fact, in the control room, I usually pull out one of the two EL84 on each channel to lower power at 2x 4.5W... And even tho, it's still really loud... => The Fooger collection is in a "soft" 6U flycase that is independent... I don't need 300 amps models, I just need MY sound which comees straight from the 1st tube amp I built 30+ years ago: a Mesa Stu22 copy built with the trannies scavenged from a Marshall 1974x (AKA Plexi 18W) then I added the Mark III's distortion while keeping the Stu22's overdrive... It didn't sounded like a Stu22... It sounded better and moreover unique. I toured with this baby for years. With some really minor mods, I could get the same sound from the Triaxis+EL84-20/20 and I got both for cheaper than dirt, thanks to the vintage/boutique trend: racked amps and preamps can be obtained for really cheap while they were all high-end stuff in the 80's/90's and still are...

Is it only with this plugin or others as well (or is this the first you’ve tried). Delays are generally sample rate related. Reduce the samples in the audio settings of your DAW. The trade off is if your computer can’t handle low samples it’ll start crackling and sound bad. But might as well start low and test the waters. Try 64 and see how it feels and sounds, if it’s great then cool. If it’s crackling go higher like 128/256/512/1024

@@ampspedalspickups hi thank you for responding to me, yes it’s my first time with plugin I tried putting the buffer size down, I also have good pc with good cpu and gpu, I think it could be my audio interface maybe? I’m glad it’s just me with the delay because I thought it was the plugin. I play really fast trash stuff and my timing is off with the delay I will try some more and let you know if I win, first time I see your channel I sub and like and will watch you more thank you!

IR's make a big difference so if the overall sound is same same and youre using the same IR's, try and mix it up. Could also be the models/captures you're trying in NAM, maybe things aren't dialled in to your taste. I personally use captures as my own backups and when I A/B the real amps to the captures they are 99% accurate. I have no complaints about the technology in general, but I can see how cruising for captures to just play around can be fatiguing. If you ever get the chance to dial in your own amps / amp sims and then make a copy in NAM I think you'll be pretty damn impressed with the results!

I did a line of ampsim videos and got this drum mix from a friend who used superior 3 then I did the full mix. These days I'm using counterkit a lot of the time and it fits in pretty well with punk/metal stuff

It should be fine, you might have to reach out to ilok or ndsp but if you bought it and can prove then its "yours". I havent done any of that stuff so I dont know how it 100% works first hand but Ive never heard of anyone losing things... just mainly delays on waiting for things to get fixed but, but never lost.

Yeah I was gonna do some with some gain modes but then it just makes things confusing, almost better to use a model at that point… I would have done gain like 20% and then boost/neutral and even that is another 18 captures, rip

I'm on the fence about Gojira and some of the others... I fundamentally love them all but thats a solid chunk of change. Totally happy with nameless!

It’s got a whole cab section with virtual mics and virtual positions so if you want to nerd out and dial in your own sound it’s all there. But if you want to load in your own irs you can do it too. If I’m messing around I don’t bother changing anything just a quick mic move and I’m done. If I’m doing a proper mix I’d probably use my own it’s just preference, you can do it all in the app without needing anything else
