Please keep a journal of what you’re feeding your cats and how they respond. If they throw it up or regurgitate it then you know it’s not working. Learn how to read the ingredients and you will see a pattern of what your cat likes and doesn’t like, and may be allergic to. Learn what cats need as far as nutrition, vitamins and minerals. A lot of these foods have ingredients that cats don’t eat in the wild. Cats are carnivores. I’m honestly at the point where it’s hard for me to trust foods that are recommended by professionals. ❤ 🐈

It’s ironic that most food you’re recommend are big brands that find nutritional classes. When a lot of their food has fillers. And they pay vets to sell their foods.

Right now I’m trying Royal Canin but someone suggested making my own chicken breast, I did that and he loves it

My snowshoe Siamese has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency and now suspected IBD. He did well on Blue Tasteful pate with his enzymes but didn't want to touch it any more. His vet suggested I switch him to kibble because of the tarter on his teeth, since we switched to kibble he's gone downhill FAST. I'm on brand #3 of dry food and if this doesn't help we're going back to only wet food. I just want him to be okay 😢

The best food is home made food including little rice, boiled chicken & fish and sometime boiled egg.

My cat would either vomit or have diarrhea with any dry food. He did better with the royal canine pate cans, however, he did not do well with the same kind of royal canine dry food. Any ideas what to do here? Not sure why, if it has same ingredients

Try kaolin pectin. It helped my cat with diarrhea and even now that I haven't given it to him he still is cheated from diarrhea

My 15 year old cat has been on blue Buffalo sensitive stomach for many year. But now is having loose stool for a month. And going outside of the box too. Worried of making it worse by switching

Might be the litter, my cat has had issues with some of the dust free litter because it's rough on his paws and chooses to poop right outside the litterbox. As some cats get older they don't like dealing with the pain on their paws. I switched to a very soft litter and he hasn't had an accident since.

@@HybridEmblem we fixed the loose stool with kaolin pectin and switching to cat person food! He no longer goes outside of the box or is having vomiting/diarrhea but now is peeing 7 times a day (I counted the lumps a few days) so now I'm worried about the liver/kidney disease. Otherwise he eats normal and doesn't seem to be in any pain and even runs around the house like a kitten. Just hate how there's no way I could afford that diagnosis

I like iams and if you wanna try a natural Italian brand that works well for my cats, try farmina digestion. I alternate between famina and iams (one cat gets urinary Formulas and the other gets digestive Formulas)

The cats have sensitive stomachs because for years pets have been eating processed none species appropriate food. The ingredients in these veterinary foods says it all.

Actually, as someone who was trained by board certified vet nutritionists and trained vets and their teams, and has watched the pet food marketers get more and more dishonest, the ingredient panel and the ingredient names themselves are all manipulation to get you to spend more money. Even in this video which was somewhat informative, there was no mention of the nutrients each of these diets deliver. Species appropriate is a marketing term, brilliant as it is, but it is not science. There is no geriatrics in nature. Thankfully our cats live more than twice as long, but old age and age related diseases can be managed with nutrients, not by just feeding meat. I understand how powerful the marketing is, but it’s really harming pets, not helping them. Did this stuff for 34 years! I’m right.

I’ve fed my cat only high quality brands such as Rawz, Acana, Orijen & Ziwi peak. He still throws up time to time and gets upset stomach and diarrhea. Never fed him junk wet food or dry food.
