The 3 liter is better than the three two I had one in my 1978 911 SC Alan Johnson racing built me a 3 liter for 8 Grand and that thing would purr at 155 mph at 5500 RPMs

Really like the concept of your videos, was wondering are you basing your sc valuations on driver quality cars? I’ve been following the market and there have been several scs like condition #2 cars with low miles and fully documented selling for 80’s and even 90’s it just seems like your lowballing what it would take to buy the best. Just trying to learn the market thank you

Thanks for joining the Nerd herd Michael. Yes, our valuations are based on the specific car we are featuring in each video. There are so many SC's out there in varying condition that the price delta between a concorse car and an average driver can be quite large. Plus, we're currently seeing a bit of a correction in the overall market that tends to effect the regular cars more than the perfect ones. Good luck on your research. We talk about SC's often.

What about the Targa from the same year?

Targas generally bring around twenty percent less than the coupes, but still more than cabs. JP like the Targas better than cabs. How about you?
