Call it just SC, or Subordinate Carrera, it will be more logical, and fair ! 76"-77" Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0L=200hp 1978 Porsche 911 SC=180hp No, the SC can't be a Super Carrera, as its declining power proves. See the 3.2L, which made 231hp when it was born in 1983, was christened Carrera. The SC was the 911 that was to disappear in favor of front-engined Porsches. 😉
I commuted to work in my 79' Targa from 2010 to 2015 and it always ran great. Gave it to my son and bought an 82' 911SC Coupe.
I picked up my first Porsche about a month ago, an ‘82 SC coupe euro spec. I love it.
Congratulations to the club.
Nice car ride, like the music & as usual great video. Thanks and happy 4th of July...
Thanks, you too!

"Affordable" classic. Ha, not at these asking prices of $50K and up for a decent example.
That is the brake fluid reservoir, the windscreen water is next to the fuel tank inlet. Do some homework before posting nonsense.
I CORRECTED MYSELF IN TEXT, BUT THANKS FOR THE NICE COMMENT HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
