Fantastic job. May I ask what the cost was to complete this? I am going to be doing something similar on my fathers 1980 Targa. This video was very helpful.
Not 1985 as in the intro, Porsche discontinued the SC model in 1983 in favour of its Carrera successor with the larger 3.2 engine with K-Jetronic (electronic) engine control. Not much else actually changed until the 964 in 1988.
I would be amazed if they were actually original tires… or replaced with original tires in the day. You only get 25k out of them… and in reality should be replaced every 5 years? That being said I kept my GYr eagles on for 20 yrs, 10 k miles, but garage kept… out of sun|heat, and tended to w armor-all.
Stunning work. 10/10.
Great video, great results, great car. Thanks, RickGTI 👍

Give us a call, wed love to talk to you more about this!
The 1985 was not an SC....but a Carrera. The SC was ‘78 to ‘83. The car appears to be an SC so it must be earlier date than ‘85.
Great catch! In the video you’ll see we put little snippet noting it was an 83’ not an 85!
Liked and subscribed for classic aircool 🤩
Home run. !!!!

Your video quality is stunning 👋👋
Remind me to give you a call when I find my Porsche!
Did you find it?
Amazing!
so is it ok when you need to remove PPF later?
I would have replaced the US headlights with «Euro» units.
Great work, how much would a transformation like that cost excluding replaced parts?
80 hours ? about 5/6k$ minimum
What about the rot and rust under body and wings and quarter panels?
The Porsche 911sc has single stage paint.
To me it looks like it was repainted with clear coat? Has sparkles.

Wow you managed to take 2 years of the cars age it was a 1985 at start of video and then a 1983 at the end 🤔
Period correct Pirelli P7s

Sorry, but 911 SC's were not in production in 1985.
