He is a true legend ! My dad had lived in Australia as a kid and was mad on Crocodile Dundee and of course Paul. He put Australia on the map for most people and paved the way for Aussie soaps here in the UK. What a guy, he helped make the world a little smaller for us all ❤
I don’t know if this makes Australians angry, but for Americans of a certain age, part of the reason we love Australia so much is because of Paul Hogan.
Why would we hate, only thing we hate is you all say throw a shrimp on the barbie.. it is a prawn here not a shrimp lol. Thought Steve Irwin made world love us Aussies more then old Hogan.
@@davejohn255 What mates do, only thing tics us is USA charges lend lease when they help countries including Australia in WW2. But like to know when are paying ours for all these wars or hope if we need it again it is free. Trump will also never help us if get's in power also.
@@nedkelly9688 You need to read up on your history. Paul Hogan put Australia on the map for the US. Not only with his portrayal of Crocodile Dundee but in his role as Tourism Ambassador and his iconic commercials. Yes he said 'shrimp' but if he'd said 'prawn' many Americans would have had no idea what it was. As for Steve Irwin he did amazing things too, but Hogan blazed the trail.
The Paul Hogan Show was shown in Scotland and I remember when I heard he was doing 🐊 Dundee, I was super excited to see it. Wat a star and entertained us all with his talent.
I absolutely love this fella. One day in the early 90's in rainy, cold England, we woke up to this beautiful invasion on our TV's from Australia. This gorgeous, sunny country with stunning, cool people who looked and sounded a bit like us. We were all enchanted and Paul Hogan was like the leader. As kids, it was one of our main ambitions...get to Australia!!
Homes is not given the credit he deserves , during the 1980s 1990s Paul Hogan was our Ambassador to whole world he makes us laugh but he has also done many other great things for Australia
Brilliant bloke to watch. Good sense of humour, no nonsense. I live in New York now, from England. Sometimes I stick on the crocodile Dundee music when I'm outside The Plaza hotel, on my break, puts a big smile on my face!
Paul is a big part of our movie nights over the years and one thing for sure everyone loves old school comedy's, I remember when he took sick a few years back the whole world was praying for him to get better. A good bloke you sit and talk to for hours.
Friday night in the eighties in UK was Cheers and the Paul Hogan show. We were spoilt. The start of the Aussie wave invading the world. Thanks for the laughs Paul ❤️🇬🇧
Good to see Paul again. I've often wondered how he was doing, happy to see he's doing well, and in good spirits. Great interview, thank you for posting it. Love Ya Paul 😁🙏
Paul Hogan you are sooo Devine. Yes you met them ALL but they are people like you and me. We are all special. And that interview with your lovely granddaughter was definitely definitely really special. You will always keep us laughing out loud. Much love.
Excellent interview. I think that he finally has come to terms with the upside and downside that success brings. There was an authenticity to his character and that carried through to his appearance as Oscars host.
They say that each day is brand new. Paul at 84 is as good as ever. I've had one relative live to 107, and her advice to all who would listen, is to keep the love, care and interest in others going each and every day. You are so important to us, to Australia, and the world 🌍. Stay well and head for 110. By the time you get closer to the target 🎯 it will be a possible 🙆 for many. God Bless Paul
Looks like a normal fella to me, he’s aged, but so have I. Great interview. And having it done by a grand daughter must of been so proud for him, Great guy.
Hello and good see you paul here from finland i can't believe he paul hogan is already 84 years old Aussie Legend Actors he's a great Aussie actor and likeable & grandfather mylee
I inadvertantly got to meet Mr. Hogan at LAX one afternoon, back in the mid-late '80's, and he showed me the "proper" way to throw luggage onto a baggage belt - using his own as the subjects! When I finalky threw them hard enough that I attracted the attention of the Airport Police(!), he congratulated me on a fine job - then walked back around to the customers' side of the ticket counter! One of my fondest memories of working there. What a class act he is.
I never imagined he would grow old.God he was good so funny with Strop and the gang they were great entertainment. It was, quick the Paul the Hogan show is about to start, our father would shout out from the living room when we were kids and we all dropped everything that we were doing and ran into the living room and got comfortable on our lounge and we were ready for laughter .
I have been the biggest fan of him since I was a little boy. I grew up watching Crocodile Dundee for the first time during Christmas in the early 90s 😍
My favourite from Paul Hogan was when he was in a coffee advert video where he was at the Opera . He looks into his binoculars up in the God seats and yells out " ' struth , theres a bloke down there with no strides on ' ! I rolled about the living room ,struggling for breath ,it was that funny . Best wishes from Scotland Mr H .
@bennyssen5821 oh wow. A person got divorced!!!! Let's all have a mourning service. I can actually say that Paul is an extremely easy going, nice person, and Noelene and the 5 kids (now adults of course), hold no ill will. While their marriage lasted 30yrs, it slowly fizzled out, with nobody in the family bitter. Education before commentation is always a good thing. You obviously don't know him, so keep your unfounded opinions to yourself.
I’m just grateful for all he’s done with his movies arts and things. I like you will of cause always remember him as Mick Dundee because I grew up watching those movies which are my favourite that come out from our Aussie Brothers and Sisters. I’m glad he got to meet The Queen we really do miss her here in the U.K., it’s was good to see him out of character though to get to know the real man behind the character if not just a little bit. I was watching cactus Jack last night laughing at Paul having fun with the character.
He doesn’t even look like the same guy anymore. Like if someone played me that clip of him speaking now I doubt I’d have been able to work out that was Paul Hogan! Always be a legend for Crocodile Dundee, bags of charisma and charm.
I love him so much.......he is such a special human being.!!! I remember watching him in the 70s and 80s on tv as a little girl and just been mesmerised wondering what in the world i was watching knowing he was unlike any other man..in the 80s as a young girl he made me so proud and thankful he was the one the heavens had chosen to represent us on the world stage ...i mean we may not all be the most charismatic, funny, grounded and worthy people in the world but he sure made us all look like we were and the world took note..i would scream at the tv.. you show em paul like i was watching a football match instead of events like the oscars at times...by the 90s it escalated to thinking omg he is actually the sexiest man alive...by 2000s i continued thinking he was the sexiest man alive and that he made brad pitt look like a goose...today im in my 50th year and i think he is still many of those wonderful things but mostly a wise old soul, too good for this world and that we dont hold him up in high enough esteem...nor treat him like the jewel he is...that face always brings warmth to my aussie heart, a smile to my face and joy to my soul! Precious man!
