I inherited a 1993 plus 2. What an accurate gun. Only fired 20 times. Being a marine it's a natural fit. I was offered 1000 bucks for it but it's not for sale. 380 scares me a little for carry because I never had one. Great video.
.380 will serve you well Marine. I carry a Colt Government model .380 which is basically a slightly longer slide and grip mustang. Excellent weapon my brother

But more than I ever imagined.
Mine was always reliable. I still have it but my daily carry pocket pistol is now a Seecamp .32ACP, a really tiny pistol. They make them in .38ACP but those are known to be unpleasant to shoot. The .32 is snappy but not too bad.
These are well made little pistols. But they are pretty much belly guns. The Colt 380 Government & 380 Government PocketLite were much easier to shoot accurately, and not really that much harder to conceal.
Nice Mustang you have there, pardner. :) This one is shiny... I seem to recall that several years ago you did a video with a blued version of the Mustang? Or has my memory finally taken that turn to the south.... lol Thanks for the video!
Lower middle class. No where near wealthy. But smart enough to get out of debt and stay out of debt. Low cost of living around here helps as well. A house that would go for $75,000 here would be $250,000 + in a large city. Also you have to take into account that I`ve spent 45 years accumulating this collection. Not as if I bought them all yesterday.

That's a nice looking little colt , looked like a nice day out .
It was!

You should do a video with it sometime.
@@1957Shep I’ll try if I can get some ammo stocked up and get to a range. Sounds interesting brother
@@1957Shep I might just do that. 8 ROUNDS makes a difference for sure. Thanks. Neal

I have one similar to the Seecamp. One of the NAA Guardians in 32.
Looks like a great little pistol, I like it!

That was a Colt 380 Government PocketLite. Those were a little bigger than the Mustang.
There a 15 round extended mag for this colt cheers 🍻nice little colt 380 love it
A 15 round extended mag kind of defeats the purpose of a small pocket pistol.
Used to love the longer grip version of these. Kinda extinct now. We have 9mm's that size that can carry 10 rounds... and I think they are lighter!
The Colt 380 Government was an easier gun to shoot than the Mustang. More to hold onto and longer sight radius. And not that much harder to conceal.
I inherited the plus 2 1993. What a great pistol. Being a marine it's a perfect fit.
That serial # looks like it was made 2011 forward.
I was carrying a colt 1903 some years ago, nice little gun,but it's not allowed to carry
The old 1903s were well made little pistols.
@@1957Shep yes it's was in good condition, never a fail. Had a mag whit a weak spring,so i had to buy an aftermarket replacement, got 3 and they worked.
Nice thx for sharing
Thanks for watching
Again, Thanks for sharing!!
My pleasure!
Those are the new ones, it says 2011 on the manual lol
Good 👁
I bet you do crossword puzzles in ink.
Shep you're super cool..nice vid
Thank you 😁
That was manufactured in 2013...
What's the difference between the newer Mustang 380 and the old Mustang 380 pistols?
Some of the new ones have plastic frames. A lot more cast parts and not nearly as good of finish.
The new ones are machined
@@1957Shepthe originals were made with cast. 2011+ ones are much better made, no cast. The mustang XSPs do have polymer frames, though.

????
This one is from 2013
Always found these older 380s interesting, too bad civilians aren't allowed to own pocket guns here.
These are almost too small. Not much to get a grip on.
Bro you have a new one. This isn’t the series 80
Nice 🙂👍☕
Thank you 😊
WhT was that
It's a copy of the Sig p238.
The Colt Mustang and Government 380s were around long before the little Sigs.

They are also a wise investment. Many of his guns increase in value over time.
