Thanks for this. You've inspired me to make eucalyptus shower steamers which will help if you happen to have a head cold like I do now. I live in Australia so there's eucalyptus EVERYWHERE lol and being Spring, they are flowering now so I have the idea to use crushed fragrant eucalyptus leaves and the pink and yellow soft stamens of the blooms as decoration.

Renee these are so awesome! I wish I could post a picture of my first batch that turned out PERFECTLY. Peppermint/Lemon/Lavendar with dried rose petals and the dried calendulas. They are too cute to use! But we will. Thank for your perfect recipe. I did sub out the cream of tartar for 2 tsp cornstarch. Fantastic and they smell so good.

Whats your favorite flowers for shower steamers
Hi Renee, I want to use botanicals in my shower steamers, but I'm afraid customers will have questions about them clogging the drain. Have you had any issues with clogged drains?
If you put a sieve in your drain it will catch the residue of the botanicals so they don’t go in the drain. I make these and give to friends and family so I always tell them this.
You can sell them with organza bags! Those are perfect, no clean up, and still the same benefits
Had mine set for 24 hours and they sweated and got a lil crunchy. What did I do wrong that caused moisture to get to them? Thanks

I use a drain cover that prevents them for entering the drain, I use drain cover on mostly all my drains ☺️

Does one batch only make six bombs? I just made them and made 12. I’m wondering if I didn’t pack them down enough.
It depends on the size of your mold. My mold was very deep. I could have gotten 12 if I filled it half way ☺️

Once its in the shower and water hits the shower steamer it will start to evaporate so it really depends on the amount of time spent in the shower and how much water its exposed to.

No refrigeration needed, just store them in a container with a lid until ur ready to sit them in the shower.

@@samantmh I've not made shower steamers before but it is basically a bath bomb recipe which includes a light oil. If you don't have or don't want to use castor oil, you could use sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil or even sunflower or olive oil. Just don't use the oils that are solid at room temp like coconut or palm oil.

Ciric acid can harm hairs, can we use it on hairs?
Shower steamers are not to be placed on the body or in your bath water. They are only to be placed in the corner of the shower to create aromatherapy.
These are aromatherapy bath steamers, not for the skin... used just for the senses.

It's a drain not a sieve. 😂 The petals are crushed quite finely, if you watch the whole video.
