    If you put Eucalyptus & Mint or find a Camphor Oil you could make these for When you have a Cold or Sinus issues. Vicks used to make shower steamers and I loved them. But you can’t buy them anymore so this is an amazing Idea! Thank you so much for sharing 🤗💕🖤💕

    OMG!!! finally one that worked!!! your recipe worked GREAT even though i changed a few things up such as the smells. i got so hungry making mine lol. it smelled like the Christmas Holidays at my house! i used a tblsp of each..... vanilla extract, cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cloves and all spice. they are amazing. added bonus, no need to color them due to the "REAL" ingredients. they look awesome! THANK YOU SO MUCH for this tutorial!!! ;-)

    I totally LOVE these videos! I made steamers, bath bombs, bath salts, body wash, body butter, and body lotion in smaller sizes with liquids and salts in 2 oz. containers. I put each together (steamers for those who can't use a tub) in a white lunch bag as a gift for friends and family for Christmas. My kitchen smells incredible and I have a new appreciation for aromatherapy after weeks of making all of these! I think a few times I actually got a bit high! This stuff was so much fun! Thanks for posting these!

    With our serious water restrictions in Cape Town - our feeding dams were only 11% full by the end of our summer this year - we are seriously into water restrictions and 90-second-showers. And these bombs bring a full joy! Thank you!

    What an amazing idea! I dislike baths so much, but I love showers. I’ve always struggled how to get peppermint essential oil to stick in the shower as it works on my migraines and asthma, but never thought of something like this! I’ll have to make some now!

      Fin Lumino you can make them with eucalyptus or peppermint essential oils. They really clear your sinuses when mixed with the steam from the shower.

      oh yeah you absolutely can! just be careful with the peppermint, some ppl have sensitivities to it and i know if it's near my face at all my eyes are on fire

      I'll have to try the menthol too. One of my sons has the issue with peppermint oil also. I thought it was just him. I just usually use eucalyptus for him.
      So, if I use Vicks with the recipe here, how much should I use?

    Great idea. I've always been envious of bath bomb users and wished there were something similar for showers. Thanks for the tutorial. Could you please add a list of the ingredients to your comments? It would save having to stop and start to write it down. Also some comments regarding scent combinations for different purposes would be great - wake up, relax and that sort of thing. Last comment to make sure l've understood. These just get splashed with water, then sit in the corner and do their thing, right? Thank you so much.

    This is probably a weird question, but if you used these things a lot couldn't the cornstarch clog the pipes from the shower?

    • @kriscullis804
      @kriscullis804 5 років тому +4

      No as the ratio to water to cornstarch thins out the mixture so it won’t clog your drain. Hope this helps 😀

      Christine Mott a moon cake press (mold) is a device that’s actually used in traditional Chinese baking for small cakes or pastries, among other things. I couldn’t find any way to attach a photo of one, you can make lovely bath bombs using these. Check on UA-cam for moon cake press bath bombs, there are loads! They come with various intricate patterns that you can change. Check them out, they can be quite beautiful.

    oh love :) seeing that essential oils can be slippery, if you lessen the amount you put into your mix (bath bombs) would that help at all, or it'll just be best to not have it at all, I am experimenting with castor oil, but am yet to try in the bath
