If you put Eucalyptus & Mint or find a Camphor Oil you could make these for When you have a Cold or Sinus issues. Vicks used to make shower steamers and I loved them. But you can’t buy them anymore so this is an amazing Idea! Thank you so much for sharing 🤗💕🖤💕
Your tutorials are straight forward, easy to follow, you don’t jump around and act like a fool during your tutorials. THANK YOU!!!! I can’t stand how many of the DIY videos have annoying people doing them
These would be fabulous with Eucalyptus fragrance oil ..... or Tea Tree ...... for people with congestion/colds/allergies ..... I think i will be giving these a try!!
I made these for my friend's daughter and put toys in them. They only have a shower and it made her feel so special to get something like that. Just want to say your channel is awesome and your videos have been so helpful while I perfect my own methods!
OMG!!! finally one that worked!!! your recipe worked GREAT even though i changed a few things up such as the smells. i got so hungry making mine lol. it smelled like the Christmas Holidays at my house! i used a tblsp of each..... vanilla extract, cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cloves and all spice. they are amazing. added bonus, no need to color them due to the "REAL" ingredients. they look awesome! THANK YOU SO MUCH for this tutorial!!! ;-)
I totally LOVE these videos! I made steamers, bath bombs, bath salts, body wash, body butter, and body lotion in smaller sizes with liquids and salts in 2 oz. containers. I put each together (steamers for those who can't use a tub) in a white lunch bag as a gift for friends and family for Christmas. My kitchen smells incredible and I have a new appreciation for aromatherapy after weeks of making all of these! I think a few times I actually got a bit high! This stuff was so much fun! Thanks for posting these!
Oh yes please. I like bath bombs but I rarely take baths (and I am currently moving to a new flat, which has no Bathtub!) And I love the aromatherapy bath bombs give me!
With our serious water restrictions in Cape Town - our feeding dams were only 11% full by the end of our summer this year - we are seriously into water restrictions and 90-second-showers. And these bombs bring a full joy! Thank you!
What an amazing idea! I dislike baths so much, but I love showers. I’ve always struggled how to get peppermint essential oil to stick in the shower as it works on my migraines and asthma, but never thought of something like this! I’ll have to make some now!
oh yeah you absolutely can! just be careful with the peppermint, some ppl have sensitivities to it and i know if it's near my face at all my eyes are on fire
I'll have to try the menthol too. One of my sons has the issue with peppermint oil also. I thought it was just him. I just usually use eucalyptus for him. So, if I use Vicks with the recipe here, how much should I use?
Thanks for putting this up. I used to buy some made for when sick (eucalyptus & mint to help clear everything out) but they don't seem to be made anymore. Looks like I can just start making my own for when flu or allergy season hits next!
Just discovered your channel not long ago. Can’t stop watching! Love the stuff you make and you are totally AWESOME! You’ve got a fan for life! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge.
I'd love these with menthol to help me get over the bronchitis I'm currently dealing with! Maybe I'll have my kids experiment with making them during Christmas break.
Gabe Angel I was looking for Vicks shower steamers last week and couldn’t find them anywhere! I thought maybe they stopped making them, but they could have been sold out too. I need to get my hands on some, lol.
Thank you for your videos. I used your bath bomb and shower steamer recipes. They came out amazing! I used lilac blossoms fragrance for the bath bombs. They cracked a bit, but practice will make perfect.
My first time making these today, and they came out PERFECT!! I used bergamont and lavender (customer request), and they smell amazing, they are staying together. Thank you for the recipe!!! I got 8 total following your instructions to a T!
I love this so much! I can’t take baths and I love the shower steamers I’ve used. I can’t find them anymore for sale so these would be perfect. Plus I’m getting into craft fairs too so these would be great for that too.
Great idea. I've always been envious of bath bomb users and wished there were something similar for showers. Thanks for the tutorial. Could you please add a list of the ingredients to your comments? It would save having to stop and start to write it down. Also some comments regarding scent combinations for different purposes would be great - wake up, relax and that sort of thing. Last comment to make sure l've understood. These just get splashed with water, then sit in the corner and do their thing, right? Thank you so much.
Thanks I’m gonna try this. …….. Looks like that was a bit much H2O for my climate but the recipe holds well. And smells great. Solid recipe thanks for sharing !
hello, nice , I am comparing and yours in a top runner! lol where did you buy the colorant.. I love the idea and no one else has said this, not to stain the bathtub! thanks!
dyscea use two cups borax, two cups vinegar and half a cup dish soap to half gallon of water. mix together, plug your tub and let sit for 20 minutes in the bottom of your tub. then take a loofa and scrub your tub gently. it will take the stains right off!
What a great idea! Thanks for sharing, I do not have a bath available so can only shower and have missed using bath bombs now I can make these I can enjoy them again 🤗
Luxology Naturals Bath Bomb TV thanks for mentioning this, I also make bath bombs with a moon cake press, took allot of scrolling to find an answer if I could do it this way. Will now try these out for my “non bath friends” 💕
Thank you so much! I can’t wait to make these. I have always slightly failed with the metal round bathbombs so it’s good to know what to do now. My round one still cracked but I will try to wrap them quickly. Thank you xx
Have you ever tried using a pizza pan with the holes to allow both sides to dry at the same rime? As this would be my first attempt at making these I’m curious to know. Thanks for the easy and awesome tutorial!
Is citric acid mandatory? Im not interested in the fizz, just the aromatherapy factor. I'm wanting to make some for sinus issues and this is the easiest instructions I've found so far. Thanks.
Love this idea, been looking for something for my “shower only” friends! Can I use my moon cake press for these since they are so similar to bath bombs? Thanks 😊
Christine Mott a moon cake press (mold) is a device that’s actually used in traditional Chinese baking for small cakes or pastries, among other things. I couldn’t find any way to attach a photo of one, you can make lovely bath bombs using these. Check on UA-cam for moon cake press bath bombs, there are loads! They come with various intricate patterns that you can change. Check them out, they can be quite beautiful.
oh love :) seeing that essential oils can be slippery, if you lessen the amount you put into your mix (bath bombs) would that help at all, or it'll just be best to not have it at all, I am experimenting with castor oil, but am yet to try in the bath
For someone who lives in a house with only a stand-up shower, this'd be wonderful

"That's gonna stink pretty really good." ILOVEIT 😂🤣
Omg I've never heard of a shower steamer
This is so cool
These would be fabulous with Eucalyptus fragrance oil ..... or Tea Tree ...... for people with congestion/colds/allergies ..... I think i will be giving these a try!!
It appears the algorithm has gathered us all here on this lovely night
margaret morning for me!
I love it when it gives me something interesting though
If any of you in Instagram be good to follow you 🤪❤️
I made these for my friend's daughter and put toys in them. They only have a shower and it made her feel so special to get something like that. Just want to say your channel is awesome and your videos have been so helpful while I perfect my own methods!
great idea! would never have thought of that..lots of kids do not have showers and we dont think of that..ty

Would love to have a Vicks menthol one for when sick. Thanks for sharing Maria 👍🏻🇨🇦

"Stink pretty" I love it
I haven't heard of shower steamers b4!!! Thanks 4 this tutorial!!!
Oh yes please. I like bath bombs but I rarely take baths (and I am currently moving to a new flat, which has no Bathtub!)

This is a fantastic idea!
I would also love to see a compilation video of you just scraping the excess off. That was very satisfying.
What an amazing idea! I dislike baths so much, but I love showers. I’ve always struggled how to get peppermint essential oil to stick in the shower as it works on my migraines and asthma, but never thought of something like this! I’ll have to make some now!
Great great tutorial! Thank you. I been researching these for a yard sale to benefit cancer charity. So these will be perfect. Thank you!
Most thorough video for shower steamers that I've watched!!! Thank you I ended up with a poor online recipe and you saved my night with this video!!!!
Your voice is soothing, and you are a great teacher, I could listen to you all day!
pop some vaporub in there and get rid of your colds immediately after 1 shower
Fin Lumino you can make them with eucalyptus or peppermint essential oils. They really clear your sinuses when mixed with the steam from the shower.
oh yeah you absolutely can! just be careful with the peppermint, some ppl have sensitivities to it and i know if it's near my face at all my eyes are on fire
Same here. Menthol works wonders in these for allergies and when sick.
I didn't even think of menthol, you're totally right!
I'll have to try the menthol too. One of my sons has the issue with peppermint oil also. I thought it was just him. I just usually use eucalyptus for him.
So, if I use Vicks with the recipe here, how much should I use?
I love this video. I'm excited to try this out. I didn't know there was a shower version of bath bombs and love the idea.
Thanks for putting this up. I used to buy some made for when sick (eucalyptus & mint to help clear everything out) but they don't seem to be made anymore. Looks like I can just start making my own for when flu or allergy season hits next!
“It’s going to stink pretty” 😆 Thanks for this. I like that you’re straight to the point and explain the recipe very clearly. 🙏🏻
Just discovered your channel not long ago. Can’t stop watching! Love the stuff you make and you are totally AWESOME! You’ve got a fan for life! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge.
First time hearing about shower steamer... I want it!
Was anyone else just randomly recommended this?
Well, at least my shower will now smell good!
I'd love these with menthol to help me get over the bronchitis I'm currently dealing with! Maybe I'll have my kids experiment with making them during Christmas break.
Kristin B I don’t know if the method is similar but look up Vicks shower steamers. I’m pretty sure I saw it on Pinterest
Gabe Angel I was looking for Vicks shower steamers last week and couldn’t find them anywhere! I thought maybe they stopped making them, but they could have been sold out too. I need to get my hands on some, lol.
Olbas oil will pack a punch, and it's pure and natural. Just keep it away from any pets.
Add eucalyptus oil! I get bronchitis frequently and eucalyptus oil helps me a lot 😊
What a great idea! I have extremely sensitive skin and bath bombs are awful on my skin so this is a great alternative!
Thank you for your videos. I used your bath bomb and shower steamer recipes. They came out amazing! I used lilac blossoms fragrance for the bath bombs. They cracked a bit, but practice will make perfect.
Awesome!
Thanks for sharing. When you were cutting the excess off the mold I found that very soothing to watch for some odd reason. I'm going to make these now
My first time making these today, and they came out PERFECT!! I used bergamont and lavender (customer request), and they smell amazing, they are staying together. Thank you for the recipe!!! I got 8 total following your instructions to a T!
why is this on my recommended but like two years after? i tried this and it worked! :))
Thank you! I love how simple you keep things!
When they were on the baking sheet, it looked like a smiley face :-)
Codie Griggs I thought the same thing. Although I thought of snowman😂
I love this so much! I can’t take baths and I love the shower steamers I’ve used. I can’t find them anymore for sale so these would be perfect. Plus I’m getting into craft fairs too so these would be great for that too.
This looks like an easy a great thing to do for gifts...and for yourself as well. 😊
Yay! Thanks for the video! I made some and their are super easy to make and make your showers feel super fancy. Gifting mine for valentine’s!

You're so creative .
It was so satisfying when you were scraping the excess off lol
Thank you! Fall is coming and sinus issues. My go to fragrance is eucalyptus essential oil.
I understand you fully. I have no problem smelling like a medicine cabinet if it means I can breathe through my nose.
I tried your recipe and it worked perfectly! Thank you!
This is so cool. I've never heard of these until this video
this is a super easy recipe...thanks bunches
Thanks I’m gonna try this.
……..
Looks like that was a bit much H2O for my climate but the recipe holds well. And smells great. Solid recipe thanks for sharing !
Great simple no nonsense ingredients recipe. Thanks!
My pleasure 😊
Thank you for this our tub is older so we don’t take baths so this is awesome
This is probably a weird question, but if you used these things a lot couldn't the cornstarch clog the pipes from the shower?
No as the ratio to water to cornstarch thins out the mixture so it won’t clog your drain. Hope this helps 😀
"Stink, pretty, really good"
Thanks for the video. I tried it and worked perfectly
The only thing I did differently was to use a spray bottle to add the water.
You did a really good job with this video and editing it for content.
Thanks!
Great tutorial, mine turned out lovely!
You are so lovely and your videos are so nice to watch! Straight to the point and very pleasant. Thanks for this! ^^
Thank you for the tutorial. I am going to make these. I am also a new subbie.
hello, nice , I am comparing and yours in a top runner! lol where did you buy the colorant.. I love the idea and no one else has said this, not to stain the bathtub! thanks!
You can buy liquid or mica colors online through Amazon, Etsy, Ebay and such. Or go to a craft store.
Watched this video almost 1 yr ago and FINALLY got around to making these. Just waiting for them to dry now 😊. Thank you for the in-depth tutorial
Thank you, have a great day.
these could probably be put on cookie cooling racks for the bottoms to dry out
Yes, they could.
Love this video!! Used to make bath bombs but this is great for the shower🧚🏿♂️
I haven't found a bathtub clean enough to do bath bombs :D Those stains! So this is a nice alternative. Thanks!
dyscea use two cups borax, two cups vinegar and half a cup dish soap to half gallon of water. mix together, plug your tub and let sit for 20 minutes in the bottom of your tub. then take a loofa and scrub your tub gently. it will take the stains right off!
Would love to see how you finish your steamers all the way down to wrapping or packaging.
I just shrink wrap them and attach the sticker label.
Omg!!!! I'm so happy to try this for my hubby....he is not a bath tube kinda guy.... this is awesome and I love your videos
Your wedding photo is beautiful! I hope you and hubby enjoy a long loving marriage. I wish you many blessings. 😊
"Stink pretty really good "
Lol yea I chuckled at that too!
Very good, easy to understand and follow.
Thank you for a simple recipe.
I have just started watching your videos and I love them! Your videos are easy to follow. Thank you for posting them!
love this idea!! great stocking stuffers.
people actually use stockings?
@@lethaoink7628 Yes. We have homemade ones for my family and we stuff them with candy and other small things like chapstick and such.
Bryanna O'Kelley sorry, just as an Australian we don’t use them
I'm gonna try these
What a great idea! Thanks for sharing, I do not have a bath available so can only shower and have missed using bath bombs now I can make these I can enjoy them again 🤗
It works and we had to make so many others that failed. Thanks a lot!
Nice! Thanks for sharing this!
These are so beautiful!! I had been making them with the mooncake press but these are super cute too!
Luxology Naturals Bath Bomb TV thanks for mentioning this, I also make bath bombs with a moon cake press, took allot of scrolling to find an answer if I could do it this way. Will now try these out for my “non bath friends” 💕
I use unscented soap, I NEED these!
Awesome Idea!! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!! You have taken some of the stress out of diy Christmas gifts. 🎁
This looks simple enough. Do you buy your citric acid online?
Thanks for making this video. Super cool idea ❤️
FUN IN THE SUN You can buy citric acid at Hobby lobby. That's where I found it anyway.
Thank you so much! I can’t wait to make these. I have always slightly failed with the metal round bathbombs so it’s good to know what to do now. My round one still cracked but I will try to wrap them quickly. Thank you xx
Gotta tell ya...I had to Subscribe for the, "It's gonna Stink Pretty"!!! LOL
Thank yah for sharing! Great idea!
Love your shows love your voice thank you
Can you use a small amount of food colouring instead of colour powder/mica?
You could, but be careful because food coloring can stain.
I love this! Thanks youtube algorithms!❤
What a great video! You make it seem so easy. I'm going to try this on my day off next week. Thank you!
Wow what a great idea
Thank you for your video. The instructions were great and makes me feel comfortable enough to make my own
I dont have a tub for a bathbomb so i want this so i can have a relaxing shower experience and think about tropical stuff
Thanks for your tutorial. Loved it! Will have to try.
I love this, I don't fit in my bath tub so yeah I need these
Very cool. Thank you!
Have you ever tried using a pizza pan with the holes to allow both sides to dry at the same rime? As this would be my first attempt at making these I’m curious to know. Thanks for the easy and awesome tutorial!
It was the "super easy" part that brought me in.
Really interesting! Curious to try this out. Subscribed!
amazing video! Thank you for your efforts!
Is citric acid mandatory? Im not interested in the fizz, just the aromatherapy factor. I'm wanting to make some for sinus issues and this is the easiest instructions I've found so far. Thanks.
The citric acid helps pop the fragrance in the air.
I made shower melts with Vick’s and without citric acid and you couldn’t smell anything at all, so I think citric acid is necessary.
Just found your channel.Thank you so much for sharing! :)
Great idea. I miss Vicks Vapour Discs. Those helped me (colds, sinuses, etc) more than any meds
Cold and flu season I'll need these
Xmas gifts
I miss them too. I started selling my version. Contact me
CVS has some but theyre not the same...
Best idea ever! ❤️ I subscribed.
Love this idea, been looking for something for my “shower only” friends! Can I use my moon cake press for these since they are so similar to bath bombs? Thanks 😊
