Great video and I feel your pain! I managed to beat crash cove and mysterious caves today but that is enough for one day. A tip you might find useful: you are going on turbo pads when you already have a blue flame or orange flame. You don’t get anything extra for going on them and it is making your racing line longer than it needs to be. An example is in oxide station you’re going on the turbo pad before the blue flame turbo pad (11:48) and you can be ignoring that turbo pad to have a sharper turning circle. As long as you’re getting your perfect turbo boosts you’ll have nothing to worry about reserve wise. I see it a lot where people feel the need to go on turbo pads but if you already have the highest flame for the level you’re going out of your way for nothing.

A drift main here's my experience, I tried over half of an hour to beat de dev in crash cove, I had to switch to speed to even stand a chance, I barely defeated him. I was happy being a drift main but it hurts to say but it sucks compared to speed.
@@neildelaguila5575 drift is better then speed, it's just because the Devs use speed and speed is faster then drift that ppl have to change classes to beat the devs
Yeah… I beat Velo's times without much issue and only few tracks made me restart a couple of times. Now, the only tracks my time is better than the dev's are the tracks I've actually spend good amount of time Time Trialing and there are some I've neglected I know that are gonna make me struggle. Like I still can't do the fence jump in Blizzard Bluff comfortably, or the shortcut in Dragon Mines, and the pyramid in Papu's is still annoying to me. And Megamix Mania is gonna be bad. I'm too stubborn to accept defeat though so I'm gonna do all of them though. Best of luck to you WumpaLewis.
Cove is really not too difficult if you know what are you doing. However there are so many maps which I have no clue how it will be possible for me. I think the top 5 most difficult trails are: 1: Dragon Mines 2: Slide Colusseum 3: Papu's Pyramid 4: Meteor Gorge 5: Cortex Castle
Some friendly advice, a lot of people really undervalue cutting corners as tight as possible. Crash cove is only a little over 2 seconds slower than current WR. The key is to hug to the left side of the track as much as possible. For example, even though it makes the reserves a lot more forgiving, it's faster to skip that first jump, and you can also jump off the left side of the sign instead of the right, although it's definitely a lot more difficult. The times are no joke, but definitely doable :) good luck beating them!
I got the platinum trophy already... seeing these Im glad there isnt any trophy to finish em lolol... glad to see someone is trying to do it cos I dont have the patience to do these good work man
You should watch them, if you want to beat the ghosts. Trying to reproduce literal perfection might not be achievable, but learning the WR strats will help you beat these ghosts drastically quicker
@@isaachpalmer2086 That's great to hear! I wish more people did that, instead of comparing themselves to the ig ghosts and not getting why they're getting their asses served to them online

2 down, 37 to go not counting Retro Stadium 1.) Inferno Island 2.) Android Alley Going for Assembly Lane and Roo's Tubes today You got this Lewis. They're ridiculous, but possible!
Lewis, I really hope you read this. Lemme give you some essential advice youll need. First... youre going to need to accept that these times will take you a long time to get your skill where it needs to be to beat them. Be patient, and dont rush it for the sake of making vidoes. You really should livestream to have your views celebrate each track you beat with you. Now for some actual gameplay advice... PERFECT FULL BOOSTS!! You are short boosting wayyy too much on crash cove. You will need those full bar boosts for max reserves. That needs to be second nature. SECOND! Your race lines needs major improvements. You will need mastery of an engine class to know exactly how your kart behaves so you will know to close you can get on all turns. Watch WR videos to see how close they get. You dont have to be WR good to do these. I suggest getting used to speed class again. You can still use Drift for the tighter technical tracks, but i think speed will benefit you on most tracks. Improving your cornering is the only way to beat some of these tracks. No more going wide and losing seconds off your time. Ultimately, your goal is becoming more consistent and confident with your lines. No more sloppy driving. No more barely being able to not hit walls with blue fire. This challenge just added months into your CTR game. This will take lots of time. And its okay if you have to just do one track per episode. You’re followers will still support you along your epic journey. You can do this, Lewis. Good luck!
Honestly I’m kinda glad that there’s a challenge in CTR as hard as this one cuz it gives those who want to attempt it something else to do in the game, plus you can unlock some cool wheels too
Barely beat these earlier myself did the entirety of the n sanity beach and glacier area ones and crash cove I beat by a literal millisecond and blizzard bluff you really gotta hug the corners I beat it by 1.5 seconds

Uh actually for me getting the platinum relics for the original CB was more tough than these times xd. These times are almost like mines, still was hard because I kinda had to beat my own time
Oml those relics on the first crash game were an absolute BITCH to get, I 100%'d the trilogy when it first dropped on PS4 and the time relics on Crash 1 were by FAR the most difficult part. Partly because of how vanilla Crash's moveset is in Crash 1 where you can't slide into jumps and partly because the levels were designed without a speed/time based run in mind. Crash 2 & 3 each took only a few days but the relics on Crash 1 made that game in particular take over a month to 100%

Damn... (drift main)
Ffs
A drift main here's my experience, I tried over half of an hour to beat de dev in crash cove, I had to switch to speed to even stand a chance, I barely defeated him. I was happy being a drift main but it hurts to say but it sucks compared to speed.
@@neildelaguila5575 drift is better then speed, it's just because the Devs use speed and speed is faster then drift that ppl have to change classes to beat the devs
9:13 well done man
Seriously well deserved I would have given up after the 10th attempt
19:46 It's confirmed! You are PolarSaurusRex!
I think the top 5 most difficult trails are:
1: Dragon Mines
2: Slide Colusseum
3: Papu's Pyramid
4: Meteor Gorge
5: Cortex Castle

Yessssss I love crash bandicoot and your vids and I just found out this channel exists. my day has been MADE
0:54 Little did Lewis know, he was taunting his mightiest rival yet
Some friendly advice, a lot of people really undervalue cutting corners as tight as possible. Crash cove is only a little over 2 seconds slower than current WR. The key is to hug to the left side of the track as much as possible. For example, even though it makes the reserves a lot more forgiving, it's faster to skip that first jump, and you can also jump off the left side of the sign instead of the right, although it's definitely a lot more difficult. The times are no joke, but definitely doable :) good luck beating them!
Im already struggling just by watching this lol
I’ve only beaten the ones on Jungle Boogie and Oxide Station. Honestly, you’re doing amazing man!
Nobody:
Lewis: *My hands are D R I P P I N G*
I got the platinum trophy already... seeing these Im glad there isnt any trophy to finish em lolol... glad to see someone is trying to do it cos I dont have the patience to do these good work man
These aren't dev times, these are literally world records
You should watch them, if you want to beat the ghosts. Trying to reproduce literal perfection might not be achievable, but learning the WR strats will help you beat these ghosts drastically quicker
@@FloroSapiens yeah I did that to get good at the game
@@isaachpalmer2086 That's great to hear! I wish more people did that, instead of comparing themselves to the ig ghosts and not getting why they're getting their asses served to them online
its true at the end of the day its the wr vids I first look at myself before doing my trials, its just the number 1 source for improvement. I even look at maybe the top 10 to see if there's anything useful I can take from them because not everyone plays the same
@@Jordy925. That is a fantastic point. Look at what the best do, and try to improve on that.
”I dont give shit about what those legendary wheels look like, they can be literal turds straigh out the toilet” 😂😂
Emperor Velo: **is the supposed fastest**
Beenox Devs: Yeah right.
Lewis:"William P., you are going down"
William P.: *So you have chosen... death*
The longer william p is on earth, the stronger he will grow.
2 down, 37 to go not counting Retro Stadium
1.) Inferno Island
2.) Android Alley
Going for Assembly Lane and Roo's Tubes today
You got this Lewis. They're ridiculous, but possible!
they are not
they are not
Lewis, I really hope you read this.
Good luck!
Bro best of luck on these i thought velos times were difficult but now looking at these i need to stop using drift and get used to speed
*Wolfy has entered the chat*
This was the moment. The moment the eternal rivalry between a certain British man and a certain chicken first began.
In Oxide Station use the secret shortcut before u get the blue flame, you have to jump and do u-turn
Awesome! :D
(i beat Meteor Gorge time only by 15 milliseconds...)
I've been waiting for this! I got NO and I mean NO chance of doing this! I can't even beat Oxide!
Yeah, lewis is back!
Watching that gave me a headache.
Velo's times weren't too bad for me, but this is gonna crush me like a grape.
Bruh! I’m literally having a panic attack just thinking about these times... velo was pretty much a joke compared to these times... now imagine trying to beat the dev times on out of time and deep sea driving...!
(Getting the gold or even platinum relics on all levels on the first crash bandicoot game could be easier than this nightmare from Hell)
