No one except for their owners know for certain, but if they're hop'd up RTR kits, probably a total of $300-500. If they're what I think they are, custom builds...they can be upwards of $600 for just the chassis alone depending on the company (eg: MST FSX-D VIP Ultra) and that doesn't even include the cost of a decent sensored brushless setup and the ESC.

they're mostly 4wd, caz its easy to drift. 2wd takes more skill and drifts a bit differently.

faaster It doesn't matter on what surface you drift, asphalt or carpet. Carpet doesn't wear the tyres down as much.
