Hey, I'm new to this stuff, it seems very cool. I saw an RC car at the hobby store and one had a brushed motor and the other had a brushless. Can anyone explain the difference and tell me which I should buy?
Awesome video. I love nitro rc cars, but have never gotten one of my own. I have a question though... is burning out really necessary? I feel there wouldn't really be any wheel spin when taking off.. though i might be wrong.
hngarza386 They spin the tires, so the rubber gets hot and sticky. When the tires are sticky, they stick to the road, and the car has a better acceleration
jonas incorrect...its merely psychosomatic...spinning tires on a 4wd vehicle on this scale does NOTHING..especially the compound RC tires are made from is already at its maximum grippiness at ambient temperature..spinning RC tires just makes the compound break down and make hte tires "oily" thus actually reducing traction..

There's vary differences.. But go with brushless. Faster and more torque.
go with the brushless my grandson player with these toys and he told me brushless gives u more speed

Some if the nitro cars have two to three gears I'm not Shure about the electric ones though.
If so the nitrous can switch gears in motion, the electronics if they have them would have to come to a complete stop while the nitrous have clutchs
