Can you imagine if they redid the BR setting, so vehicles would face others from the same time they saw combat? Like, imagine all the low tier German tanks (early panzer IIIs, IVs, etc) facing a team of T 34s and KV 1s

One thing I recommend doing with the kv-1 models is finding sets of bushes close to a capture zone and hiding behind one of the bushes while angling your tank 15 degrees left or right, then use the binoculars to spot the enemy and point your turret at them then fire.

Okay, there you go. There is no kv 2 that survived the war. Of course, there is that kv 2 TURRET in the Moscow, but it's placed on a hull of whole other tank, which wasn't even planned to be kv 2's hull, because it would break the universe in half, if that thing would be capable of living longer than 6 years.
@@Podsy Finland has a full KV-2 in one of their museums. Even a 1940 variant which had a smaller production number then the 1939 variant. And I think Kubinka Museum has one too but I'm not sure about that...
Well, I found out, that there is one KV 2 that actually managed to survive the war, but it was damaged, and had to be repaired once, and after the war it had replaced roadwheels ChKZ made for KV-1 and KV-1s and new built wings and tracks from T-10. I'm not sure, that it would be possible to actually drive, but as I said, there is no KV-2 that is capable of driving nowadays with it's own engine, hull and tracks, from what I know. The KV-1 (ZIS-5) is my favourite heavy tank in the Russian tech tree, and since the m18s are now 5.7 I don’t have to worry about them anymore which means I can bounce rounds all day. Until a panzer goes through one of the few weak spots or a friendly PE-8 takes me out.
The KV-2 in 1939 and 1940 versions are well known of being extremely powerful But they have two fatal disadvantages: 1- slow fire rate 2- long turret turning time. These two advantages (if you weren't careful enough) will be a very dreadful obstacle for playing as a kv2 But the kv220 amazed me for it's fast reloading and powerful gun. :D Although that I'm a fan of the Germans but they look lovely.
SMK should be the competitor of the KV tank for serial production of new gen heavy tank after winter war, instead of being its grandfather. Both SMK and KV prototypes were sent to the frontline during winter war for actual combat test.

The KV-1 is a nice heavy tank for beginners in my opinion. It has decent armour and mobility and the gun is quite ok with some punsh. It allows you to make mistakes and learn how to play heavy armour. And then there is the KV-1B... I don"t know why people are afraid of him. Just let him get closer and then aim for his gun mantlet. Easy to penetrate and making him helpless and in reach to push him and aiming for his weakspots, while he tries to escape. I love cocky KV-1B player, who think they are unstoppable until it's too late ;)
Once I was attacked by a R3 while in a Kv-1 . It kept trying to kill me but its laser cannon could not penetrate my thicc armor. The r3 got mad so it decided to shoot my gun out in a very pssy move . As It proceed to attempt to escapee i managed to pin it into a building and crush it .
Has 75mm armour at 3.7.. angled it has almost 200mm armour all around..very formidable enemy UNTIL you realise it but still be penned by a reserve tank or spaa if their shots hits the part of the roadwheel that sits infront of the hull, the shell detonates inside of the wheel.. sending spall through the armour.. completely nullifying its value, every Russian tank up to the T10M has this problem due to low ground clearance, KVs used to be scary until I figured this out😂
make a video on how only people who played earlier can use the Maus which takes 3 rockets to the site and still not die and have 4 more maus that shoot back at you because that's fair and fun gameplay

kv1 zis 5 still need a tactic to flank a tiger due to its low penetration while tiger can just face head to head without a problem and it can easy penetrate a kv1 basically if a tiger or a jumbo is know what its doing kv1 is just a dinner for them
