I let them dry by first wrapping 6-8 in a towel and letting them sit. Then to the ironing board and a little air drying. When they are at the barely damp stage, l iron them. I usually do 3-4 dozen at a time to get it out of the way, and start the next batch. I prefer darker floral prints in a large size for practicality. The handkerchief is the most underused and underappreciated of all the accessory items. I use about 4 dozen monthly and love using and collecting them. Nice video with an easy-to-take vocal aspect.

I love old hankies! Thank you for talking in a calm voice. So many people talk so loud.

When washing hankies what soap and what is the dilution. I think you mentioned oxygen. Warm or cold water?

Always cold. Use just a tablespoon or so detergent, depending on the size container you are using. You can add the same amount of Oxyclean.

Lol--very true, although large floral prints from the 30's-60's are great too. Some are works of art. Surprising that women gave them up.
