- Finally got around to replacing the fork seals on Mavis. The left one has been leaking for a long time and knowing forks are normally complex I left it leaking! Well as I found out they're very easy on this Chinese bike. No seal driver required! In total it took me around an hour to do.
Tools used:
6mm allen key
10mm socket
12mm socket
13mm socket
17mm socket
1¼" socket (to drive the seal in)
10mm spanner
14mm spanner
17mm spanner
Phillips and flathead screwdriver
Pick
Thank you for the very informative video .....I will be doing the same on my Lexmoto
What oil did you use and what quantity? Tks
I used 10W Castrol fork oil from Halfords. And 160ml per leg.

I can try, what's up?
@@LowtherSport i just brought mine for £800 but it’s only going 50-55mph max with full throttle, it runs good and no bogging but not fast enough, also when high revs it something is rattling I’m not sure, rides threw all gears fine but it’s just not fast as should be, any help would be appreciated
@@LowtherSport also quite slow in the low gears
@@LowtherSport only had it for 3 days so don’t know much about it
@@LowtherSport do you have any suggestions please mate
Hey mate, not sure if you check the comments on your video but im having some issues with my lexmoto viper which im hoping you could help me with. Please respond
OK I'll try, what's up?
@@LowtherSport Whenever im coming to a stop and I pull in the clutch, my bike revs drop and the engine cuts out. Any ideas?
@@LowtherSport oh and my fuel gauge isnt working properly regardless of how full the fuel tank is. It shows full bars but blinks in and out , not quite sure how to explain it
@@TheCR33P3RZso it's full or blinking. When it's blinking does the whole fuel gauge blink, even the outline part? If so, it means it isn't getting a reading. So I'd be replacing that fuel level sensor in the bottom of the tank, it can be hard to wiggle put as it snakes round. Just remember the angles you had to move to get it out as the new one has to go in the same awkward way.
@@LowtherSport Yes the whole fuel gauge blinks in and out. Thought it might be the fuel level sensor but wasnt certain. Any idea where I can purchase that sensor? Unfortunately CMPO is out of stock.
Come do my vaule clearances on my lexmoto venom 125 I'll pay ya
