Build an undefeatable character | self-control in personality development (stoicism & detachment)

  • This is the ONLY video you need to change your life. I explain practical stoicism to help you take control of your life. If you feel defeated, frustrated, or disappointed with life right now it's because you haven't yet mastered detachment and the art of letting go of what you can't control. I urge you to watch this entire video because I'm taking you through stoic principles to build an undefeatable character so you can finally feel in control of life - not reacting to it or attaching to it. I first talk about emotional rationality aka taking control of your emotions. You need to be emotionally rational and master this. Not letting yourself focus on the things you can't control, that's where you're feeling out of control. Detachment and stoicism emphasize the importance of this if you truly want to feel invincible and like nothing can break you (because life will try). I move on to talk about remaining unphased by adversity and the external world because your attention on it won't change the natural order of things. The things that WILL happen no matter what. Use your mental energy to control the only thing truly in your power - yourself. By doing that you WILL change your external world.
    Throughout the video, I provide valuable insights and practical advice on how to truly detach in life, take back your power, and apply it daily so that you can flow through life with resilience and invincibility.

    heard a great comment. "You are not what you attract, you are what you entertain." Just because something comes into your life, doesn't mean you have to accept it. This includes people. Not every opportunity presented is something you have to accept.

    Hello. I had to pause video in the middle. I noticed your videos yesterday and there was 1 from them which was something eye opening for me and really I was surprised about it. It was video called how to become magnetic, and aspect of face outside watching myself and dharma. My missing thing. Thank you, that was very valuable for me. I think many people dont know this. We will not understand about being stoic if we dont feel the force inside ourself to do this. This drive is made with this dharma.

    Oh wow honey I really needed this today. Dealing with fighting family members who don't want to listen to my advice, follow my example and no matter how hard I try to mediate I'm wrong. I decided today that though I love each one of them and they love me in return they are all adults and now have to figure it out for themselves. I've given you the tools, advice and showed by example if you choose not to follow my advice etc that's fine I love you anyway but will not be responsible for cleaning up the mess and try to help heal your relationships with each other. Hope that made sense lol. Love your vids and thx so much for the much needed confirmation today. ❤

    Dear Vickita,
    I am more than grateful to have stumbled upon your video and overall content. Through my research and experience, I've noticed a lack of women at the forefront of stoic teachings and philosophy. Perhaps there isn't a necessity for this, but it surely makes it all the more refreshing.
    Best regards,

      I appreciate your comment. There is an ENORMOUS need for female Stoics (or similarly disciplined & logical females, whether their moral compass is guided by religious or philosophical views). As a woman with 2 children under the age of 2 - going through a nasty divorce - I can fully admit that we women are EMOTIONAL creatures by nature. If we are to be successful in life and live peacefully, we must cultivate Stoic (or similar) qualities. It's extremely difficult to do & it's an ongoing process. But nothing worth having comes easily.

    • @sadiahluna
      @sadiahluna 5 місяців тому +1

      @@alexandriaofatlantis I completely understand you. It’s definitely a rewiring process that’s needed for us to achieve that balance. Candidly speaking, the world as a whole could use more balance in all areas-not just on an emotional front. Perhaps we may achieve what we’re looking for if we continue to search and apply.

    She knows this of course, but maybe forgot to mention it - some people are born with mental illnesses and need medicine and/or therapy to control their emotions. Sometimes the body just takes over, like having the flu. There's nothing wrong with that. And get yourself in to see the doctors and therapists to feel better - it's so worth it!

  • @Skillnessa

    Vickita is not always that simple. For example today one of my co worker talked to me like she just pulled me out of her ass.. How can you be stoic when your co worker ahumiliate you front of everybody??? If you stand up for yourself than you create a bigger problem but if you don't people will continue to walk through you like you are nothing. At this moment i can not deal with this situation. I can not resist stress or work in a highly stressful enviroment and even if i did not say anything i know i can not afford to tolarate this behaviour. My stomack is hurting and i feel like a fool for not standing up for myself even if that was the "wise" decision. Tell me what the Hell you supposed to do in a situation like this?? I do not want to leave my job cause i like it so i have to be with this person in the same room and also my earnings partially dipend on this person.

      You could just pose ignorance, I had this classmate who sat next to me in my coaching , she was just like your coworkers, I started ignoring her and getting unaffected by whatever the heck she said , she sat the whole two years, and eventually just became a laughing stock. No one liked her and a few people who were feeling the same became my friends

    • @cheesychick66

      Think about it- can you control whatt your coworker does or says? You can't. So that's step 1. Then figure out how you what you react, whether it's ignoring them or finding a way to remove them from your world.

    • @VickitaTrivedi
      @VickitaTrivedi  9 місяців тому +1

      I would say what is in your control to alter the situation. Can you create more distance between you and them? Can you speak to them directly about their behaviour? Can you talk to your husband? And if there's no options, then you take control of what you know you can control - your not caring about their judgments/behaviour
