(Edit) If anyone is interested, somebody filmed madonna singing this song live at her latest tour: Madame X (not the official video from madonna but a fan taken video by Denzel Reyes), along with her daughter dancing in the background and it is, in my opinion, her best performance of this song she has ever done. I highly recommend checking it out if you're like me and can't get enough of this amazing song.

Has the potential to impact you whenever you listen, especially the first time! I remember discovering it back in 2013 in college - late night alone in my hostel (dorm) room; can never forget that strange feeling. Watched it a few times - goosebumps, a feeling of relief and a strange uneasy feeling that kept me from sleeping!

After all these years, I still consider this the greatest thing Madonna ever created.
It wasn't created by her... She only sang it, then the producers and studio technicians had a tone of work cleaning up Madonna's voice to make it sound like this.

"If I could melt your heart, we'd never be apart" (I take it as a positive message of helping someone overcoming their "frozen" heart) and "You're broken, when you heart's not open" (another positive message, humans were meant to have an open heart, and it does hurt you when it's not). Today's lyrics would be "Figure your sh!t out on your own, I don't need you, you're a PoS, I don't even need you"
Can we just pause for a second to appreciate William Orbit's production in this album? Ray of Light still sounds like something that could come out... like, next year? So ahead of its time, and Madonna's voice fits the tracks so perfectly. Seriously, listen to the album in its entirety and prepare to be completely mesmerized by it.
