Depends on the place. If you live in the center of Tokyo, such as Chiyoda, Shibuya, or Minato wards, the cost of living is quite high, but if you live in Edogawa, Itabashi, or Katsushika wards, which are far from the center of the city, it’s quite affordable.
Wild city? Rural Villagers always see urban cities are wild cities. Most of these things are wasting time because you can find them in every advance country. Fly there with such amount of cost and look at useless things like cats, bars, comics, markets, trees,.... Perhaps look at the water too, maybe different?

They have a healthy diet here, literally no one is overweight!
