Can we please give a standing ovation to the unsung heroes this channel. 1. Whoever comes up with Malini’s wardrobe. How does this woman dress like this while also travelling. We look like cave ppl half the time we travel. 2. The guy behind the camera. This dude is a framing genius. You can literally screenshot this stuff and turn them into wallpapers. 3. Whoever writes the script to these videos. It’s Simple, it’s clean, it’s easy to consume and yet packed with so much information without boring you. You guys are killing it video after another. Thank you for the lovely comment! It’s just us two behind the channel and we’ve enjoyed the journey and everything we’ve learned, and especially touching to know that the hard work is appreciated by our followers 🙏🙏
I'm an American who lived in Milan for 2 years and this video was a nice summary of all the things I used to love doing there. Thanks for the nostalgia.
As someone who has lived in Milan for almost a decade, this video was a brilliant watch. The video editor and his skills are top notch, and Malini also has a super nice way of explaining stuff.
little explanation: *FIOR DI LATTE* means 'the best of milk', as FIORE (flower) is a word used in Italian language, to qualify 'the best', 'the most whealthy', 'the high tier' part of something. Mozzarella “fior di latte” first took that name (“bufala” is another kind of mozzarella, for example), and then the plain flavor of gelato (just milk) got the same, but their flavors are not related!!! They're just both made of milk.
I spent a year living in Milan & fell madly in love with it . My sister has lived in Bergamo, very nearby, for the past 10 years so it will always be very close to my heart xx The Negroni sbagliato was “invented”in Milan. It’s my all time favourite drink Stracciatella gelato was invented in Bergamo ❤
The coverage is very neat, short, solid and informative. Your way of speaking is calm and clear and not boring. It's so cool to watch over and over again.
Another great video! Been to Milano once before for conference. Will never forget the moment seeing the Duomo di Milano emerging at the horizon when stepping out of the metro station. Truly a beautiful and historic city.
Re ice cream: fiordilatte actually means "the best part of milk", which can indeed be turned into mozzarella, but also ice cream, so not necessarily cheese 😊.
Today is Easter and I have been there exactly six years ago on the day of Easter and I too went to the shopping complex, the cathedral, the castle and yes the had the gelato.
I just love your videos and I just subscribed, I am Greek and I love Italy and everything about it, the sights, the music, the food, the fountains, the people. Been to Venice, Rome, and Tivoli and I have the most amazing memories that will stay with me forever.
The best travel content on UA-cam. PERIOD. I love how respectful you are to every place you visit and that you always put the locals on the spotlight to showcase the cities. Keep up with the wonderful work you're doing and thank you for spreading beauty, poetry and culture around the world. God bless you!
The city is elegant, but so is the narrator. I saw your Oman vlog accidentally and got hooked to your eloquence. I wish I was half a good speaker as you are. Just a treat for ears
She has really good way of explaining things, her voice, the way she carries herself is incredibly awesome, she pronounces the words really well. I love her. I love you MA.
I'm a Sicilian born in Bensonhurst Brooklyn still here I love Milan and all of Italy and Sicily and the food is incredibly delicious the energy is beautiful too 🍷🍝 🇮🇹
Milan has such a unique vibe from the rest of Italy…art, fashion, food, sophistication, all swirled together in a stunning tapestry, and you captured it all so beautifully! I can’t wait to experience it all when I visit next year! ❤
You had my heart when after eating an afternoon meal you uttered the words- I feel I'm dead and in heaven 🤩. That simply shows how delicious that meal was
I absolutly love your videos! The way you mix the culture, history and social ways of the people and show them in your videos is fantastic. It shows good research and great planning to make each video something unique. This is not just another tourist video, but videos that expose the place's traditions and its people to the viewers. Congratulations on your videos.
Just wanted to thank you for this video, I have been in Milan for four days and you enriched the experience for me and pointed me to some things I didn't know about. Thanks to you I had a delicious lunch at Naviglio Grande today! Beautiful videos, keep going :)
Wow, The stunning visuals and informative commentary have completely captivated me, and I feel like I've gained a newfound appreciation for the culture and beauty of Milan. It's amazing how much you can learn and experience through your videos. This video has definitely inspired me to add Milan to my travel bucket list!
It would be really fascinating and enchanting if you could create a similar UA-cam video for Bologna. A surprising city full of local vibes and many historical and cultural secrets.
Love your work. Milan is a stylish city and you've matched it too with you gorgeous looks, and sophistication. The clip brings memories as I studied in Milan. Keep up your good work! Dieci e lode!!
I just discovered your channel and I cant believe how beautifully shot everything is. I’m completely blown away. The shots, the warm fuzzy almost analogue film look, the places you go to. It’s truly on another level. One thing though and please, change this for future videos. You obviously record at a beautiful 24 frames per second but export the video in 30 fps. This means a lot of panning shots are choppy because the video has to make up 6 extras frames per second which results in doubled framed and thus choppy video. Thanks again!
I have just booked four nights in Milan, coming from Paris, as my entry point for train travel in Italy in spring 25. Your tours are par excellence, and I loved your Naples, so I come to you with an embrace of your work. I stayed two nights in Milan two years ago, my first time in Italy, and it was not enough time. Milan then possibly Naples, its antithesis.... Cheers.
Complimenti! I’ve been living in Milan for years and I must say you captured the essence of what makes this city so fascinating. That mix of old and modern, unlike other, more touristic Italian destinations, makes Milan unique and livable. Really interesting details about Stazione Centrale as well.
Loved the architectural flavor of the City from the train station to all the varied historical buildings and your black/white touch of filming in the old cafe! Cheers Babe - Keep up the good work!

nice video of my home town Milan . two things, the old trams are orange not yellow, any pastry you have with your coffee or cappuccino or cafe is called brioche in the north of Italy. fior d Latte means the cream of the milk. the best of!

I’m born and raised in Milan, as experienced traveller I kindly suggest to not consider July and August to visit Milan it could extremely hot there transforming your trip in a nightmare! The best periods to visit the city are definitely October march April and may. Also other autumn and winter months are not bad if you are not afraid of a little bit of cold (not so much anymore).
Almost everything that made in Italy is fashion. The food, clothes, cars, en zo on. Even the olives, olive oil n pasta i buy in the supermarket looks so nice. But mostly expensive than others. Not to mention the Ferrari n Lamborgini. Love the fashion that comes from Milan, tnx for sharing, love u😍🌹

Well presented and narrated glimpse of this iconic city I have only smelled ...from its Airport. Which is a season that sees sun and rainfall there? Low touring season would be when?
I love how you said Naples is the soul, Rome is the heart and Milan is the beautiful mind. Such a nice way to capture the essence of each city!
