Number 9 is a big deal. They do that as a means of “claiming” you by marking you with a scent. They do that to mark territory, but it’s neat when they do it to a person because they are basically saying you belong to them.
My rabbit licks me every so often, but nowhere near as much as the Dutch rabbit I had when growing up. That rabbit could outback any dog and be much cuter about it. I also had the cutest experience at a pet store when a bunch of baby bunnies all vied for my attention and were licking the heck out of my hand and arm. But that only happened once.
Do you take your bun to an unfamiliar room to trim their nails? My two used to kick up a fuss when I did it in their own room but I learned the trick somewhere to move them to a different room. I do it on the kitchen table on a towel. They are way more calm during and actually sweeter & appreciative afterwards (a little piece of dehydrated banana helps😋)
My rabbit is almost 11 years old and he does kiss me sometimes but overall he doesn’t like it anymore when he’s touched but he still loves it when I share food with him
@@keke9795 omg I just got a bunny and I let him out to play and fed him a banana and he started zooming all fast and then jumped on me and he bit my knee cap and I was like wtf and I put him back in his cage because I didn't want him to bite me again and draw blood. Thats such an odd place to bite but mine bit my knee too lol
I adopted a bunny almost a year ago, and she just started to let me pet her, she comes running when it's time for pellets and she runs around me! It's making me emotional!
i brought two lop eared lady bunnies and love them they have each own personality and have fun just 3 weeks now and 13 weeks old training them and training me !
This made me miss my bunny so much! He did all those things, he was the sweetest. Sadly, he died 5 years ago at the honorable age of 10 years and 6 months old.
I’m so sorry! My bunny does a few of the things but bites me and lunges at me almost everyday! She nudged me a few times and climbs on me but she’s very mean most of the time. She is 2 years and is a Lion Head rabbit. Any ideas why?
@@Milly-ni7sx Bunnies need a calm environment, they don't handle stress well...also if they don't eat enough, they might start biting for the good reason that they're starving. They also need to spend a lot of time with you to feel that you're trustworthy. And they need a lot of exercise, they need to be able to walk, run and jump free so they must get some time out of their cages EVERYDAY! Also they might feel less loved if you have other animals so you have to give them undevided attention when you're with them. And for a lot of bunnies, it's best if they don't interact with other animals depending on said animals because once again they might feel very stressed when they're around them. I don't know how's your bunny environment but I hope that can help you! Let me know if you need more advice! 😊

I thought of a few more things you could try: They also need to sharpen their teeth so that might be why she bites (watch your wires when she's out!!!)...just give her a piece of wood or you can buy at a pet shop some apple tree sticks so she can nibble on it! Also I don't know if your cage has a grid at the bottom...that's useful for the owner but very hurtful for the bunny. I suggest you train her to use a litter instead, that's what I did with mine. You just choose a big plate that you put in her cage and you put saw dust in it and when she starts doing her job you quickly take her and put her in her litter...eventually she'll understand that's where she needs to go...if I think of more things I'll let you know! I'm eager to hear about the results you'll get!!!!

My rabbits are around 8 months old and are a dwarf mix meaning they’re freaking adorable, and I’m honestly so happy they do all these things because I love them so much.
My other bunny always likes to meet new people and legit flops against their feet after just meeting them. The little fella thinks everyone is his new friend, and damn if he ain't good at making it so.

Yes I sit with them. At first I was scared 'cause the first time they nip on me I felt their teeth so I thought that they'll bite me so I got shocked. But now I'm comfortable with them nipping on me and my clothes, they also like nipping while they're on top of my legs and it's hard to make them go away when they're on my legs 😅 I also learned that they do that so that they'll know if they can trust you, if they're on your legs don't pet them 'cause they'll think that you're gonna hurt them while they're observing you.

Aww, so cute! My first pet rabbit (rest in peace, Bunbun) used to lick and groom us, haha. In fact, the first day we met her at the shelter she licked my dad's hair when put his face by the cage lol. She passed away a few years ago unfortunately, and I'm now onto my second rabbit whose name is Sooty (because his fur is black like chimney soot.) Sadly he doesn't lick and groom us like she did, I do miss that, but he is still very cute and fun to play with and pet! He'll sometimes flop over onto his side and occasionally he makes little honking noises, often when he's startled but sometimes he'll just do it randomly too and idk why but it's cute lol. He also will come over to investigate if I lie down on the floor and he jumps up on the couch sometimes when I'm sitting or reclining, and he'll put his paws on my leg and sniff me haha.

It's a wonderful thing to be close and loved by a rabbit as well as any animal. I've had 3 🐰 bunny girls And to love them and care for them. But it is a chore as well not just cuteness

It's a wonderful thing to be close and loved by a rabbit as well as any animal. I've had 3 🐰 bunny girls And to love them and care for them. But it is a chore as well not just cuteness
