S. James they can’t sell before 8 weeks and especially not within the first couple as the baby’s need milk from the mum but also as the eat their own poo, the baby’s eat the mums to gain healthy immune systems :)

I know the feeling I lost my last one 4 years ago but I always remember the good times and that my little madam is watching over me always. I’m gonna get another one in a few years time but only once my daughter is a little older and neither can really hurt each other.
Get ready cuz they are very hard to take care of.You need to give them all the attention they want.Feed them the proper food.You have to research about them.Have the proper place for them.And dont feed them so many carrots and fruits if you give them a lot thats like giving a child so many chocolates and candies so only feed them fruits and carrots like a treat give them little pieces from time to time
Sometimes baby bunnies "fail to thrive". I don't know why, but even if they're getting milk, they just don't develop *quite the way they're supposed to, and they end up passing somewhere between a couple days old, and 2-3 weeks. I've had that happen to about 6 out of all the litters/kits I've had. Sometimes mama bun accidentally carries it out of the nest box, and since rabbit kits can't thermo-regulate well until they are 2-3 weeks old, being cold can kill it. Sometimes you have a doe who doesn't nest properly, causing the kits to die from exposure. Sometimes they overclean babies at birth, and end up munching parts of babies off. I've had one (terrible mother) doe who smothered one of her babies, while feeding the rest of them. (That wasn't the first kit she had ever killed. Typically, does are given "three changes" to prove themselves to be good mothers. She proved herself to be awful all three times) I can say, I've never once ever had a kit with an exploded heart, from being handled too much. It's sad, but sometimes they pass.

I feel so sad when watching this video, thinking about how much bunnies suffer in research laboratories.. for different drug testing or cosmetic tests, they suffer and die in a very painful way :( I wish the animal testing will be banned soon !!

sjjsmd I work in a research lab, in Seoul, South Korea.. I have seen what they do to the animals and the results always come out different.. they redo thousands of time, killing hundred of thousands of mice every year, with no clear results. Finally when the drug is approved, side effects appear in human, that was never visible in rats/mice. Because the responses are different than in humans. Best method are the Organoids. So now this is the hot trend, trying to test everything on Organoids (made out of patient's own cells).
sjjsmd because the laws are still this way :(( testing starts on animals and organoids are too expensive and still developing. Not many experts in this field, but their results are amazing!! So we just need to wait a few years and things will change! It is in the process.. we just need more intelligent people to become experts in the organoid field 😊

Get ready cuz they are very hard to take care of.You need to give them all the attention they want.Feed them the proper food.You have to research about them.Have the proper place for them.And dont feed them so many carrots and fruits if you give them a lot thats like giving a child so many chocolates and candies so only feed them fruits and carrots like a treat give them little pieces from time to time

I had the help of my step-mum who manages a rabbit rescue and we are lucky enough to have a garden big enough to house 12 rabbits

Sometimes baby bunnies "fail to thrive". I don't know why, but even if they're getting milk, they just don't develop *quite the way they're supposed to, and they end up passing somewhere between a couple days old, and 2-3 weeks. I've had that happen to about 6 out of all the litters/kits I've had. Sometimes mama bun accidentally carries it out of the nest box, and since rabbit kits can't thermo-regulate well until they are 2-3 weeks old, being cold can kill it. Sometimes you have a doe who doesn't nest properly, causing the kits to die from exposure. Sometimes they overclean babies at birth, and end up munching parts of babies off. I've had one (terrible mother) doe who smothered one of her babies, while feeding the rest of them. (That wasn't the first kit she had ever killed. Typically, does are given "three changes" to prove themselves to be good mothers. She proved herself to be awful all three times) I can say, I've never once ever had a kit with an exploded heart, from being handled too much.
It's sad, but sometimes they pass.

I feel so sad when watching this video, thinking about how much bunnies suffer in research laboratories.. for different drug testing or cosmetic tests, they suffer and die in a very painful way :( I wish the animal testing will be banned soon !!
But if there's no animal testing then we would all be dead already that's how humans test the cure to things I know it's sad thinking about it and it's not fair to the animals AND THAT THEY SHOULD BAN IT NOW BUT then what are they gonna use to test
sjjsmd I work in a research lab, in Seoul, South Korea.. I have seen what they do to the animals and the results always come out different.. they redo thousands of time, killing hundred of thousands of mice every year, with no clear results. Finally when the drug is approved, side effects appear in human, that was never visible in rats/mice. Because the responses are different than in humans. Best method are the Organoids. So now this is the hot trend, trying to test everything on Organoids (made out of patient's own cells).

sjjsmd because the laws are still this way :(( testing starts on animals and organoids are too expensive and still developing. Not many experts in this field, but their results are amazing!! So we just need to wait a few years and things will change! It is in the process.. we just need more intelligent people to become experts in the organoid field 😊
