A lot of people call carp trash fish , but I don’t care I love catching them. Tremendously one of the hardest fighting fish they are. Another great video.
One man's trash fish is another man's fighting treasure. They are soo much fun to catch & don't take expensive tackle & lures. If you can get one to hit a fly- Wooly Booger, Grasshopper etc. - they are a blast. Good one at 29 inches. Stay safe. 🎣👍🙏
@MichaelKaal-TriFisher It can try your patience getting one to hit but well worth it. In early mornings if they feed on bugs on surface like the floating debris areas or a corner of a cove where debris piles it's some easier. Or a shallow flat using a crawdad imitation. Can be 90% stressful & 10% awesome. Fun though. Good luck! 🎣🙏👍
Totally agree!!! I've done best in the fall. The lake surface catching all this seeds, cat to a raft of carpdoing a double haul crazy fun.@@billdye3530
I love doing some carp fishing on the Muskingum river. If you want to see some young kids have a good time, take them carp fishing. They will have a blast reeling in those big guy's.
Michael, you had an absolute banger of a day at the carp. We don't have those up in Canada but wish we did! Can't believe you caught a turtle, that's pretty cool! Hope you feel better soon man! 🙏
That’s a great tip. A long time ago, I caught some monsters down there myself. Years before filming. Thanks for the reminder. May have to do another trip to the Holston river.
Not unusual to catch carp here at or above 20lbs. They are fun and fight like hell. But it really sucks when they steal your pole. 😂 have had a few get dragged away over the years.
Carp are invasive and highly detrimental to native freshwater species. In Missouri, it is mandated by law to remove them if you catch one. It is illegal to release them back into our waterways. Don't know about where he is at. I wish more people would remove these fish rather than release them. They eat so many of our native fish and completely ruin lakes by churning up so much silt.
In TN we have a trophy size program for common carp. It is not mandated that we killed them even though they are invasive. Until they tell me otherwise I’m just gonna let them go and catch them for fun.
These are the best species of carp to ever exist... Its a real carp a wild one and those are the best can u tell me what can i do to catch some carp that are at least close to them?
If you live in East Tennessee, then go to Boone Lake and fish near WingedDeer Park. That’s the closest to my location on foot. Throw sweetcorn out and put a few on a hook and you’ll have fun.
@@MichaelKaal-TriFisher ok thanks but by the way im from Serbia ,i just wondered what were ur ways so i could try 😅 can i use old corn? Like when its hard you know not soft as the fresh one

Yeah, it’s a blast. I grew up catching them as a kid and still enjoy catching them today.

Yes, me and my friend Logun are scheming up a Fly Fishing carp counter.

Yeah, Fishing for carp is an absolute blast.
I have never caught a carp, not anything that I can remember. But this makes me want to
It’s a good time

Hey man! Is the fishing pole you use the one being advertised in the video?
Yes, both are made by ugly stick. One is called a tiger rod and the other one is just the standard catfish ugly stick.
@@MichaelKaal-TriFisher k thank you
I went to bluff city today and caught a 25 inch carp 4 1/2lb
Excellent, that’s exciting!
Cool
It was a great day on the water

I still can’t believe I’ve even found it. Super random. 😂

@@budgie2242 Thats awesome! I don't recommend using hard, dry corn. The carp cant digest it. Boil it first to get it soft.
