      Cringy 80s metal lyrics. But damn it if they ain't good. Shit is hilarious. But this band was already ahead of their game with their instrumental work they're doing. Rex really had his bass down,shit is nice and audible.

      @@813lynch4 If you've ever heard Terry Glaze's other band Lord Tracy, it's pretty clear the cringe is intentional. Half their Deaf Gods of Babylon album is just a joke. There's a song about getting head from a woman with three heads on there.

    It's interesting how a band could evolve in just a few years. Not many bands have done that, and Pantera is definitely the only band in existence that migrated from glam to extreme metal. Had they not changed their style, Dime's tallent would have gone to waste.
    The only sad thing about this is that they've decided to pretend that their early albums don't exist.

      I dunno. Some of Dime's glam solos are pretty damn awesome. Just listen to All Over Tonight. Talk about some epic epic shredding!

      Celtic Frost went from extreme/black metal to glam (1988's Cold Lake) then back to hard rock and extreme metal.

    This album is a little heavier than it's predecessors. Lars and James met up and jammed with the boys in Pantera. That spurred them so much! :D

    Can't believe the band would be ashamed to list these early albums. Goes to show Pantera were more concerned with the modern trends, which makes them sellouts. Too bad, because these 80's albums rock.

      Exactly. If people like Phil Anselmo Pantera better, that's ok with me and I understand it, but personally, I think Terry Glaze-era Pantera was ten times better. It's the only Pantera I'll still listen to.

      Phil anselmo was an awesome singer in power metal and cowboys, he just kinda went way to... i dunno mainstream i guess? His voice now doesn't even compare to what it was back in the day.
