So I have a friend who loves to decorate every holiday and she likes to buy new decorations or pieces each year. She used to donate but found that donation places sometimes mark the prices much higher, so she feels that doing it her way, her neighbors and customers get a better deal❤.
A suggestion: use pillow covers for seasonal pillows - you can downsize your pillows that way cos youre just gonna replace covers instead of pillows. Saves space!
That is truly a Monica’s closet lol. I’d be willing to bet that the one thing you miss about Michigan is the basement for storage! I always find your decluttering videos super motivating ❤

Hey Alexandra, I love seeing your videos all the time! I'm actually in the process of decluttering my bedroom because I'm getting new furniture this Friday. I definitely need to finish it because I can donate the stuff I'm not using anymore. ❤❤❤
I had a closet like that in my old house. It went under the stairs and then had a hanging bar in the front. It had a small door in the bottom to make it look like a normal closet. When you opened the door it was huge inside. And it was stuffed full. When we moved we downsized. And we still have too much stuff. My husband likes to collect things. And we don’t have much storage in this house. I would love to move to a house with a basement. He could cram all his junk down there and I wouldn’t have to look at it. He’s not going to stop buying. We had family here for the weekend. And my daughter said we need another shed, and she’s so right. We already have two. But we live in a small ranch three bedrooms two baths. And not much closet space. We already have two sheds. I’m not sure where we could put another one. But something has to be done. I just bought a Cricut so I can make things. And I want to clean out our office. So I can use it for my Cricut. But maybe we can put one on the other side of our house. We have one, my husband built, behind our house. One we bought that’s big beside our house. And the only place we have left is the other side of our house. And I have the guest bedroom closet full of my dresses I don’t wear. I want to donate all of them. Maybe I can give them one of my granddaughter’s and they could make some money off of them. I just want the closet space. I need to be ruthless when I go through things. The only problem is most of the stuff is my husband’s. And I know he isn’t going to get rid of it. We have a chest of drawers in the office. And I’m willing to let him use it for his stuff. I’m even willing to get a bookshelf for some of his stuff. And I would love some kind of closet system in the master bedroom. This gives me motivation to get started. I’m going to get started on the guest room close

Great video, you could have an electrician come and add a plug to the closet, in Texas it is less than $200 to add the plug, then you can keep the vacuums charged. ❤
I’m sure you have heard this many times before…but you should really consider getting a storage unit near by😊. You will always have Moore’s of decor and probably keep adding to it. I have a storage unit and believe me it’s worth it! ☺️ Have a great day !
You have way too many possessions if you need to pay for a storage unit. That is such a waste of money. If you declutter your possessions, you may find you don’t need a storage unit.

As a person people look up to, you should really appease to everyone. People are struggling to keep afloat and you have so much more! I agree with other comments on all the pillows! They make pillow covers! You also crammed so much back into the closet only leaving the front open. It was not extreme decluttering. Don’t title that to get views. I have done extensive declutterred for a tragic situation in our family and what you declutterred is not extreme. Your are blessed and have so much. Just remember that.

That's what I did 😅 still using childhood pillows with different covers every season
I wish I had this advice years ago. I'm now looking at all of my pillows and figuring out what I can do. Great advice.
