    Great hacks, thank you for sharing. Another hack for wrinkled sheets, dry them on low instead of medium heat. I find this works not only for sheets, but also for shirts that tend to wrinkle easily.

      Having a shower wand, makes cleaning many things much easier. A little bit of pressure from the shower water (massage setting) , works so much better vs. Scrubbing and wiping, or the lower pressure at a sink.

    All beautiful ideas. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us❤ question: I'm painting my kitchen cabinets and having a hard time choosing between Behr whisper white and polar bear. My walls are already painted in Ultra Pure white - would Whisper white look good? I wanted a little warmer white. I already read your blog on the Behr whites! And still having a hard time deciding I would so appreciate your suggestions! Thank you!!❤❤❤

    • @thediymommy
      @thediymommy  4 місяці тому +3

      I'd personally do something even a bit warmer like Behr Swiss Coffee, but it really depends on your lighting and personal taste. Paint a swatch in a large piece of paper and tack it to your walls to get the best idea of how it'll look!

      ... although I am just a Rsndom Commenter ... I suggest using a Cabinet Paint made expressly for that Application.. ; I know Behr makes a Product just for this purpose, and I'm sureyou'ree aware of this .....and although Swiss Coffee is a " warmer Colour " .. I think it actually looks better on walls, than Cabinets, but that's a personal choice. .There are quite a few options of " Warmer Whites " if you're looking for that hue to paint your Cabinets. She is correct in painting a large swatch .. I recommend " living with that for at least a Week " ... and see how you like it, since the colour will change due to lighting and different times of Day.
      ( I am a former Professional Painter).

    • @JandKG

      @@texasstardust6010 thank you so much!! I really don't want a white that pulls yellow and having a difficult time choosing. I really appreciate your suggestions and willingness to share your knowledge on this topic ❤️

    • @texasstardust6010
      @texasstardust6010 4 місяці тому +1

      @@JandKG ...My pleasure. 🙂😊... I hesitated a moment, before Commenting, ... But I thought I want her to be aware of the Undertones.And you really don't want something that's going to pull yellow or brown or orange , something like that, if thats not what youd prefer. .. the Undertone will give either ' warmer " or " cooler " tones. The Hue value is the " origin " of a Colour , and from there, it is " Tint, Tone ,and Shade ".. so I hope this helps you in choosing a Colour to try out.
      I always recommend ( and did ) at least 3 different Colours to do a Swatch on the same wall, to best determine what can actually work...and what the Client preferred. ..if none worked,.. pick other Tints/ Tones and go from there. That old saying " Its just paint" is true and it often takes a few times to find what works for the Space. the desired Look and what Compliments the Surrounding areas as well.
      Also.. depending on where you are located.. factors such as humidity, etc are considerations for when you paint, as far as dry time/ curing time ,🙂😊 Happy Painting !

    For painting the mat, the trick is not to "flood" the edge of the tape with paint, then to remove the tape as soon as you've painted a section. My sister is a professional painter, and there's a saying in the industry, "Never trust the tape."

    • @vaneta6937
      @vaneta6937 19 днів тому

      As an artist with a son whose profession is painting houses, after placing the tape on you paint the the area you are going to paint , next to where the tape is, with the color you are preserving that way, anything leaking beneath the tape is the color you were preserving.then when that is dry you paint the new color…when the tape is removed it will have clean edges with no seepage under the tape.

Second…putting dots of glue to the back of a picture frame to prevent scratching is a really good idea. But if you put glue dots at the top corners also your picture frame would be much neater.

    The dishware is being scratched because the silverware is too soft. I got some 18/10 silverware and no marks.

    I don’t like the smell of stainless cleaner so I use Endust fragrance free furniture dusting spray with a microfiber cloth. Works like a charm. You could also use Pledge. I don’t like that smell either.

      Goo gone works really well on stainless steel found hack on accident but really works well. They even make a goo gone cleaner now I saw for stainless steel appliances
