Thanks. Any idea how to do it with normal mountain ruck?

Is there any guidance for rigging the jump komodo with the H harness I've had it slip from the harness multiple times. Thanks

Okay dumb question. This Ruck is approved to be used by big army for static line jumps correct? I want to buy one but I don’t want to blow $900 just for my JM to say Nah bruh you ain’t jumping that

Yes, it’s approved and IAW the CAASOP. However your BN SOP dictates the final yes/no.

They’re okay to use, it’s just that the CAASOP needs to be updated. Even the MOLLE 4K isn’t on the list yet because it’s brand new. I’m recommending it for my guys in the Reserves since we haven’t been issued the new hotness yet. Some of us still have that ACU bullshit, but this is a better alternative to get streamlined with you guys (if you’re Active).

Two retainer bands for the HPTLL is for cowards.

Kinda defeats the whole purpose of the ruck… it’s designed to be used with STRLLS style release (aka FROMA PASS Straps) not the H-harness.

Alas, most jumpmasters in conventional units will never let you jump that. You're lucky if they even let you H-harness a non-issued ruck.
