Hey Kyle, I saw on your Elite Jumps UA-cam video that Elite Jumps makes really good jump ropes. So I went to look on the website and saw that I could customize a beaded rope but can’t figure out which type of beads is better. I. wanted to ask about your opinion on which type of beads for a jump rope is better to learn advanced tricks. Thank you for your time.

Most freestyle jumpers use 1 inch beads. As for soft or hard...I've never used soft myself and am a far bigger fan of 5 mm PVC ropes.
I would email Elite Jumps to inquire between the soft and hard. They work with a lot of competition jumpers so will be able to explain between the two.👍

Wow, 3 lb muat be really intense. I started junping 5 mo ths ago and so far my heaviest rope is 1 lb. I'm not even thinking about anything heavier 😂
