Your videos are very helpful! You helped me so much while I was studying for the teas and your videos helped me so much pass nursing school and the NCLEX! You are awesome!!!
Thank you so much for making these. I've watched I believe all of your science videos. On this particular video there are several mistakes. Please don't take this the wrong way, but for the students that are really struggling I would either edit the video or perhaps make a disclaimer in the beginning stating the ones that you answered incorrectly.
Thank you for taking the time out for making there questions. I just want to know do these questions match up the difficulty of the actual exam? Or have you simplified it for us to understand general math? Again thank you 😊
On question 5 in the Arithmetic portion, wouldn't the answer be 50? In the parenthesis, it is (2+5) which would be 7. I believe in the video you did (2x5) by mistake. On a completely different note, your videos are very helpful for me in studying for my TEAS exam!
Hey Jessica, I purchased your bundle for the ATI teas exam, and they have been helping. I have also decided to watch your videos for additional help. I am super stressed out because this is my last attempt in taking it. However, for the first question on Juanita, can you tell me step by step on how we got the 0.8 part, that is what is confusing me. Thank you, Loving your videos
You go this! So we get to 0.8 because if the number is being reduced by 20% we can think about it as 100%-20% = 80% we can think about it like 100% of something is that number x1 100% of 1 is 1 100% of 5 is 5 100% of 10 is 10 So taking that Into account if we know something is reduced by 20% that can be though of as 100% reduced by (-) 20% is 80% To find that number we multiple our number by 0.8 Because if 100% is 1 Then 80% is 0.8 20% is 0.2
You are a brilliant teacher. I'm starting my studies for the TEAS from July first. Do you think four months of study is long enough with 30 hours of study per week?
Hi, I have a question regarding 4th question from the Arithmetic chapter, you multiplied 2x5 instead of adding them. is it correct or Im not following it correctly
Hi Jessica, Thank you for putting so much effort into creating questions and walking us through it. I was wondering, do you have a doc such as the one your scrolling through in the video, that has the questions instead of quizlet. My test is going to be on paper so I wanted to print the problems out. Please let me know about the document, I'll be willing to purchase it.
Arnela, you could purchase the quizlet decks and print them. To print a set Log in to your account. Open a set. Select ... (three dots, More menu). Select Print. Adjust the page size and print options, if needed. Select Print. this will include the practice problems and answers on the print out but you can fold the sheet in half do the practice problems and then check your answers after. Hope this helps!
24 is the Common Denominator. You don't add those. Try "The Organic Chemistry Teacher", he further breaks things down. Her answer is correct on this particular problem.
Hi Jessica, loved your video and was extremely helpful. Just wanted to quickly ask about question no 4 ( percentage and ratios). If the sanitary molding was installed along both sides of the wall, wouldn't the answer be 8 instead of 4?
Great catch!!! You are correct! I missed the “both sides” , recording was a bit tricky recording, talking, and doing math problems. It makes me so happy when you all catch stuff because you’re understanding the content! Thank you for pointing this out.
Hello Jessica , could you please explain the circle graph about the sales of television sets problem? I think you skipped this question in Graph and lines section.
Tell me if I am wrong maybe I am misunderstanding the wording of the question, but for number 4 wouldn't it be 4 for each side of the hallway making it a total of 8?
I love that you caught this! This was semi-tricky to film and there are probably a few errors. (Talking, writing, and calculating in my head at the same time was sort of hard for me lol )
You are right! Sorry It was a lot of word problems to work through. (and talking while doing). On the teas you have a calculator I was doing it in my head. So 36/4= 9 gallons per day so since we have to replace at 360 it'll be 360/9 which gives us the same answer of 40. But good catch! you are right it is 9 not 8! Thank you!
Your videos are very helpful! You helped me so much while I was studying for the teas and your videos helped me so much pass nursing school and the NCLEX! You are awesome!!!
your doing math a more difficult way. 20 from 100 is 80. 80x.5 is 40. add 40 to 80 and you get 120. 20 was the increase. 20%
yes thank you for explaing i asked about this i am horrible at math this defintly helped thanks for commenting
i just didnt get that part 80x.5 is 40 ? i put calculator 80 x 5 and its 400 @_@

Thank you I was just coming here to point that 🤠
Thank You soo much for these videos, and for the Last question on Arithmetic, the answer is 50. You multiplied instead of adding!!!
Hello, I have not made it through all of them, but I believe 2 are incorrect... 8 + (2+5) X 6= 50 there is another earlier on.
Oh my gosh you are an angel! Im taking my teas on Jan 28th and needed something just like this! 💛 🙇♀️
I am so happy you found this helpful!

You go this! So we get to 0.8 because if the number is being reduced by 20% we can think about it as 100%-20% = 80%
we can think about it like 100% of something is that number x1
100% of 1 is 1
100% of 5 is 5
100% of 10 is 10
So taking that Into account if we know something is reduced by 20% that can be though of as 100% reduced by (-) 20% is 80%
To find that number we multiple our number by 0.8
Because if 100% is 1
Then 80% is 0.8
20% is 0.2

@@BlossomWithJessica brilliant, that's reassuring to know. Thank you for the fast response it is truly appreciated.
Im confused on that too

on minute 34:40, why did you not ad 14+24 like you did with 15+24? and also what is divisible with 53 for you to get 5

@@BlossomWithJessica , I totally love your videos, I will be taking TEAS soon and you have been a great resource. Thanks again!
Hello Jessica , could you please explain the circle graph about the sales of television sets problem? I think you skipped this question in Graph and lines section.
On question #5 at 8:36 shouldn't the answer be D?
The question is asking the rate which the MEDICATION is being dispensed, not the solution itself.
I'm so lost how you got 0.8 in number 1. Could you please explain how .8 came about ?
20% less than 100% = 80%
This is what I’ve been looking for, thank youuuuu
I'm trying to purchase your science practice questions and it's not letting me.
Hi thanks for the video! Are we allowed to bring a blank paper to work the operations?
Yes!
#5 at 18:30 please explain how you get 15min and 20 min?
60 divided by 4 equals 15 and 60 divided by 3 equals 20.
Great video but, I couldn’t help but notice you said 36 divided by 4 is 8.
Tell me if I am wrong maybe I am misunderstanding the wording of the question, but for number 4 wouldn't it be 4 for each side of the hallway making it a total of 8?
Yes
how to correlate the 0.8 and percentage of 50? i dont get how you do this with the percent if it wasnt 50% lets say 30% what would 30% of 80% be?
Thank you for this video!!! It’s so helpful! 👍🏼
You're welcome!
Hello, I have not made it through all the problems, but I believe 2answers are incorrect.
I’m sorry but there is a mistake on 36th minute of your videos. You say that 2+5 is 10. I really enjoy the review.
Great catch Monika! It was a lot of talking. Lol thanks for updating!
I thought I was going crazy! Thank you
Sorry!!!

Hi, you skipped the question number 7 (word problems)!
Hello, I need help with Question 4, I don't understand how you solved it
The answer is 8

Silly question does the test require a calculator?
The testing system give you a calculator to use.
Is that for the whole math portion.
Yes

Debbie, if you hit the gear icon in the lower left side of the video you can adjust the play back speed to be slower. I hope that helps! -Jessica
I want to purchase your study 📚 but the mistakes are giving me anxiety.🫤
This was pretty tricky to film. It was hard to be calculating and explaining what I was doing at the same time, so there are a few errors.
