I took the TEAS a few times and didn't get the score I wanted which left me feeling devastated, a friend of mine referred me to your videos and I've been watching them, taking notes, and studying... as well as taking practice tests. I am so excited to take the TEAS Exam again and pass! Your videos have helped me retain info and feel confident in my abilities and for that I am so grateful. I have already finished my nursing pre requisites now all I need to do is pass the TEAS exam with a 60 in Reading and Math. Previously I have failed the Reading section by just a few points but passed the math but I am confident that this will be the time I pass and then I will be able to get into the nursing program and accomplish my goal of being a nurse and helping others which is my true passion. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!
You've got this! I'm so glad to hear that my videos have been helpful in your TEAS preparation journey. It's completely normal to face challenges along the way, but what matters most is your determination and perseverance. With your hard work and dedication, I'm confident that you'll achieve the score you need in both Reading and Math. You're so close to reaching your goal of helping others as a nurse, and I'm cheering for your success every step of the way. You're so welcome, and a huge congratulations on scoring an 82.7% on your TEAS on the first try! 🎉 That's a fantastic result, especially with just two days of focused review. Congratulations on passing the TEAS 7 on your first try! 🎉 I just saw your comment from 3 days ago. That's a fantastic achievement, and I'm so happy to hear that my videos were able to help you in your journey. Remember, you worked hard for this success, and you should be really proud of yourself. Keep up the great work on your nursing journey! ❤👩⚕️
Good luck on your upcoming TEAS test! You've already accomplished a big achievement by passing it once, so I have no doubt that with a little more effort and practice, you'll do even better the second time around. Keep up the hard work and stay positive!
@@oliviawebber8181 I purchased the study guide book from the official ati site. Once I went through that, I started watching the videos. You'll do great, just take your time.

It's wonderful to hear that the videos were a helpful tool during your study journey. Keep up the great work and always believe in yourself. This is so motivating! Thank you! I am sad in math as well, and her videos have been such help. My Nursing TEAS test is tomorrow at 12 noon. I was only alerted about the need for the test 5 days ago so wish me luck!!!!
Thank you for creating this! At minute 24 you talk about a formula for triangular prism- but the image you have is of a rectangular pyramid, wanted to let you know so your students dont get confused.
Thank you for pointing that out! It's really important that the visuals match the content to avoid any confusion, especially with geometric concepts where the shapes and formulas are specific. This was corrected in my most current videos on the TEAS. Your feedback is invaluable in helping improve these educational resources. Thanks again for your attentiveness and for helping improve the learning experience for others!
Fantastic videos! Thank you so much for sharing them and helping so many people. I did want to point out that 24:29 you talk about a triangular prism but you have a picture of a rectangular pyramid instead, then another pyramid again on the next slide with the correct formula. Just something I noticed. Thank you again!😀
Thank you for your feedback and keen observation! It's great to hear that the videos are helpful. The discrepancy you've noticed with the geometric figures is an important point, and having accurate visuals to match the content is definitely important for learning, especially when it comes to topics like geometry where visual understanding is key. I'll make a note to correct that in the materials. It's always appreciated when viewers are engaged and contribute towards improving educational resources. Keep up the great work with your studies, and thank you for your support! 😃📐📚
Extremely grateful for your videos! I have been watching and taking notes to study for all areas of the TEAS. I just wanted to point out (maybe you could make a tag at around 24 minute mark), the prism you used for a triangular prism is a rectangular prism. It isn't that great of a deal, but as someone who has been out of school for 13+ years, it did confuse me until I looked up a a picture of a triangular prism. Thank you again for all of your informative videos! From the time I learned I would be taking the TEAS, I started studying, which gives me about 10 months of preparation, and confidence I can earn a passing score!
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. You are absolutely correct! I apologize for any confusion my mistake may have caused. I appreciate your feedback and I'll be sure to double-check my content to make sure everything is accurate.

Hi Mirna, thanks for your question! I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with word problems. A good way to practice and get better at them is by doing a lot of practice problems. You can find a bunch of them online or in math textbooks. Another thing that might help is reviewing the steps involved in solving a word problem. When you understand the steps, it will be easier for you to see how to solve the problem. Hope that helps!
The TEAS typically does not give the formulas. I would definitely make sure you memorizing them in case they do not show up. I have a newer math video on my channel that can help with understanding these concepts.
I'm about to take my TEAs soon ,will their be any Algebra problems and and alot of word problems, what is the best strategy to approach such questions. And in advance thank you so much you vidoes I have helped me understand. And I feel more confident to take the Exam
Great question, Catherine 😊💜 There will definitely be both Algebra and Word Problems on the ATI TEAS. I would recommend using my videos to learn the foundation of these topics and then take as many practice questions as possible to help further your understanding. Learners have used these methods in the past and have passed the exam 😊 I hope that helps
Can somebody please tell me what does version mean in these teas exams.. I’ve been recommended her videos ! But I’m not sure what’s the difference with the versions
The TEAS exam, specifically the ATI TEAS, comes in different versions, such as version 7 and version 6. These versions represent different editions of the exam that have been updated over time to reflect changes in content and test format. Here's what you need to know about the versions: Version 6: This was the previous edition of the TEAS exam. It covered the same basic content areas (Reading, Math, Science, and English) as the current version 7, but there might have been differences in the specific questions, topics, and question formats. Version 7: This is the most current edition of the TEAS exam that was released on June 3, 2022. It is designed to assess your readiness for entry-level nursing and allied health programs. Version 7 reflects updates and adjustments made to ensure that the test accurately measures the skills and knowledge required for success in healthcare education. There is a significant focus the science portion of the exam. Nurse Cheung's videos and study materials are designed to be helpful for version 7 of the TEAS exam as I do not believe there are administering the version 6 TEAS anymore. Just be sure to choose materials that match the version you're preparing for, so you're fully equipped for success on exam day!
These concepts are commonly tested in the Mathematics section of the TEAS exam. It is essential to familiarize yourself with the formulas for calculating the area, perimeter, and volume of different shapes, such as squares, rectangles, circles, triangles, and cubes. However, please note that test content may change over time, so it is always recommended to consult the most up-to-date study materials and official TEAS resources to ensure you are adequately prepared. Good luck with your exam!
Great question Sonia M Guzman 💜😊 I am currently on temporary hiatus for this month to work on a huge project I have coming up for Nurse Cheung. In the meantime, I would definitely recommend using some of the fantastic resources that are available with practice questions. This will help further understanding of graph questions you may see on the exam. Best of luck on your upcoming exam!
Great question, Maserati Holly 😊💜 I have not heard any feedback if the test still offers the formulas when you take the math portion, nor was I able to find this information on the ATI TEAS website under their outline. I know in the past version 6, it was offered, so I am hopeful that they still do.
For the mathematics section of most standardized tests, including the TEAS, formulas are typically not provided. It means you will need to memorize key formulas that are essential for solving various types of math problems you'll encounter on the test. This can include formulas for area, perimeter, volume, and basic algebraic equations, among others.
