From the bottom of my heart thank you for constantly teaching students like me for the teas exam. I watch all your videos and without you I would feel confident taking my teas next week. Keep it up!!
You're so welcome! It's fantastic to hear that the videos have been boosting your confidence for the TEAS exam. Remember, you've put in the hard work and preparation-now it's just about showing what you know. Good luck next week, and keep up the great effort! 🌟
Yay!!! 💗🫶 How did it go? I hope you know that God loves you so very much. He loves you so much that He sent Jesus to the earth from heaven to live a life never sinning or doing anything wrong and dying to pay the penalty of our sins in our place 🙏 We all have sinned against God, sin is why we die and it also takes us to hell as punishment. But God made a way through Jesus taking our place that we can be forgiven through Him and set free from sin and saved from hell 🩷 that’s how much God loves you!! anyone who repents ( realizes they are a sinner and turns away from the direction of sin and turns towards Jesus for forgiveness 💕) and they trust and believe that Jesus died to pay for their sin and that He rose again will be forgiven and saved 🫶 they will be made new and Jesus will always be with them 🫂 the Bible is Gods word and the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are the gospels of Jesus in the Bible if you want to know more about Jesus and His words. God bless you and have a great day 🌸🫶💗
You're very welcome! I'm so glad to hear that the explanation helped clarify metric conversions for you. It's great that you're feeling excited about your TEAS! Good luck on achieving that advanced TEAS score-you've got this! 🌟
Great concern! When comparing equivalent units, the metric system is generally considered larger than the US system, meaning that for example, a meter is longer than a yard, a liter is larger than a quart, and a kilogram is heavier than a pound.
The key is to determine the direction of your conversion and the conversion factor between the units. Here's a simple way to approach it: If you are converting from a smaller unit to a larger unit (e.g., grams to kilograms), you will typically divide. If you are converting from a larger unit to a smaller unit (e.g., kilometers to meters), you will typically multiply. To convert 1500 grams to kilograms: Since you’re going from a smaller unit (grams) to a larger unit (kilograms), you divide by 1000. Thus, 1500 grams ÷ 1000 = 1.5 kilograms. To convert 5 kilometers to meters: Since you’re going from a larger unit (kilometers) to a smaller unit (meters), you multiply by 1000. Thus, 5 kilometers × 1000 = 5000 meter.
When converting units, like pounds to kilograms or inches to centimeters, you need to know the conversion factor, which is a specific number that helps convert from one unit to another. For instance, 1 kg equals 2.2 lbs, and 1 inch equals 2.54 centimeters. To determine whether to multiply or divide, consider the unit size: if you're converting to a larger unit, like pounds to kilograms, you’ll divide the number of pounds by the conversion factor because kilograms are larger and you need fewer of them. Conversely, if you're converting to a smaller unit, like inches to centimeters, you’ll multiply because centimeters are smaller and you need more of them to equal the same length.

I’ve failed the TEAS like 3 times. I could never get the mm to km, l to kiloliters, mg to kg! Not even on a calculator lol for 2,500 millimeters… i divided it by 1,000 on a calculator and got 2.5 😢😢 mistakes like that would immediately make me fail the math section 😢
It’s easy to make silly mistakes, especially when you’re stressed! I recommend you try my TEAS math study guide to help you master those conversions. It was also great to see you in the live last night. Mr. Cheung will be back with a Math Live next week :)

Nurse Cheung! I cannot thank you enough. This is such a great way to do this conversions. ❤
You're very welcome!
Omg! I was wondering how I was going to remember the metric conversions. THANK YOU THANK YOU . I am getting excited for my advanced TEAS score.

great vid.
This helped me I use the 3 1 1 1 3 3 to convert from metrics though these questions were good practice. Thank you!
can you explain your method?
Thank you very much
Thank you so much you’re amazing
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the lesson!
Hey! My biggest problem is trying to remember when I’m suppose to divide or multiply when using this system.
Great concern! When comparing equivalent units, the metric system is generally considered larger than the US system, meaning that for example, a meter is longer than a yard, a liter is larger than a quart, and a kilogram is heavier than a pound.
I have not a clue whether to multiply or divide when it comes to standard-metric conversions. :/ How do you know when to multiply and when to divide?
The key is to determine the direction of your conversion and the conversion factor between the units. Here's a simple way to approach it:
If you are converting from a smaller unit to a larger unit (e.g., grams to kilograms), you will typically divide.

Hi I was wondering how to know when to divide or multiply for the last problem with pounds to kilograms or inches to centimeters etc?
When converting units, like pounds to kilograms or inches to centimeters, you need to know the conversion factor, which is a specific number that helps convert from one unit to another. Do you have a way to remember the conversion for temperature?
Great question. I can usually find the approximate number between Celsius and Fahrenheit by either multiplying or dividing by 3.
@@NurseCheung Thank you so much!
In teas exam, don’t we get questions for conversation of temperature?
Hi Christeen. You may see conversions when it comes to temperature on the exam.
@@NurseCheung thank you! 😊
