A little jam to show the housier and technoid side of this drummie. Buy: www.thomann.de... Review: www.dj-lab.de/... Performance: Kai Dombrowski Video: Kai Dombrowski
You probably dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me atm then you can stream all the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Been watching with my brother for the last couple of months xD
Yeah, that's a $500 reverb and a $400 delay. They will make a can of coins sound like most amazing thing you've ever heard. Rd-6 is a very limited drum machine: -dry sounds -no sound tweaking -very limited sequencer -clunky interface -onboard distortion sounds...distorted If you already own a bunch of studio gear and synths, this will be a fun addition, but if you are looking for a budget drum machine, there are much better stuff that can be had for not much more money.
Outputs used on rd-6 are mix, kick and toms. Mix goes in reverb and then in 5th mixer channel. Toms in delay/echo then in 1. Kick goes somewhere in the mixer
The best thing about the original imo were those clangy hats which Behringer completely messed up. I know there are variations between the OG's but these just sound nasty without doing any kind of mods to the machine.
Your right it does... [I have one] but don't forget it's £115 Vs £280, I think for the cost the RD-6 it is well worth the money, and very well played here.
What are the advantages? It cost more, it's not analog, it doesn't have separate out jacks, no clap, no distortion... I think the TT-606 is a better choice if you want to pay a little more.
@@tehrobotjesus analog or not I don't really care when the sound is here. Separate outputs are on USB. The claps and rimshot are OK and I have a lot of pedals...

@Milo Remington Definitely, have been watching on Instaflixxer for since december myself :)
Love this ! The space Echo and modulation you are doing is quality !
@3:05 hits HARD. Love this! ❤
Kai is back at it again. The jam with the reverb was awesome
hey colega que bueno saludos desde guadalajara mexico estoy por comprar una de esas me sirve mucho el tutorial que hiciste saludos
Awesome. Tempted to get one of these myself. You make it sound epic.
Update, he did, and his review is very helpful ❤
I listened twice in a row then ordered one to go with my td-3. Good jam!
First video I’ve seen someone use the individual outputs. In fact it’s the only video I’ve seen do this. Cool sounds man.
The second jam its amazing
Incredible jam
Great demo of the RD-6
That tom tom workout! Proper!
that sounded like Joey Beltram in his heyday around 1996. I could not give you a higher compliment than that.
This man knows his stuff respect and thankyou
Fantastic!
Keep forgetting these exist . Really need to pull the trigger on one
for 130 you cannot go wrong - #behringer did a great job with it
Wow, very very good jam👍
Excellent jam!!!
Very freaking nice! ✌🐀
It just looks so fkn cool and fun
thank *YOU*
And to think I was getting the impression that the RD-6 was "limited". Clearly not.
It's impressive what you can do with a $130 drum machine + $600 in pedals.

Me too...wow
@@JH-lo9ut, can you give some suggestions for budget drum machines to substitute rd-6 with?
Only RD-6? Very good! 👍
Are the knobs easy to turn? Is it nirnal?, with one and the knobs are hard when turning them
Is it normal for the knobs to be hard when turning them?
Hii, what is the brand and model of the mixer?
It is one of behringer mixers

Que pedal ,me recomiendan para el RD 6 ?
Damn
really nice !
can someone explain what are the other devices ?
Guitar Pedals. Strymon Blue Sky (Reverb), and BOSS RE-20 (Delay/Echo)
how do you have route your signal ?
I kind of want to buy DJ LAB some color-coded patch cables for these videos. 😜

👍👌
Shouldn't the title read RD6?
Yes! Thanks :)

Gruss patrick pox
The Roland TR-06 is so much better...

@@MicroBanshee yes, of course. All the drums are the TR-06's : ua-cam.com/channels/qwrMIkvRy54NyHpe0lBWLg.html

Sounds thin....
are the sounds generated only by rd 6 and the effects I see? no jamming with other machines?
The other things are just a reverb and a delay/loop pedal
Is it normal for the knobs to be hard when turning them?
Mine are stiff, too.
