- Larry King’s wife of 22 years has been left out of his will, according to reports. A copy of King’s handwritten will dated from October 2019, two months after he filed for divorce, calls for 100% of his $2 million fortune to be divided equally between his five children. Shawn King, who was estranged from King at the time of his death, is nowhere to be found. Sadly, two of his children, Andy and Chaia King, have died since that will was written. The $2 million sum raised eyebrows from those who assumed his estate was worth much more. #InsideEdition

Legal pro-tip: if you don’t want to leave someone any part of your assets in your will but you want to prevent them from being able to contest your will (e.g. Ex-wife, toxic family members), explicitly leave them a minimal amount in your will like $1. This stops them from being able to argue that you forgot about them while writing the will

The reason he put 20% is because he probably meant 20% of his will to each child (he has 5 children), which adds up to 100%. He probably changed it 100% because it may have been less ambiguous instead of saying 20% goes to each child.

Interesting how weird people get about money/inheritances. People tend to show their true colors when they could possibly get a lot of money out of it (or, in their minds, lose a lot of money they think they're entitled to).
