Larry King is without a doubt one of the most recognizable and memorable talk show hosts alive today. He was born into a humble family, with absolutely no connection to the world of fame and fortune. Throughout his life, however, he would rise up amidst painful losses and difficult challenges, ultimately becoming one of the most iconic celebrities today.

Larry King was born on November 19th, 1933, to Jennie and Aaron Zeiger. Sadly, while King was attending high school in Brooklyn, New York, his father died of a heart attack at age 44. The death left young King absolutely devastated. Still, he had to remain strong in order to support his mother, who was now struggling to make money for her family.
Larry King developed an early interest in radio broadcasting, and he was determined to follow his dreams. He happened to run into a staff announcer who worked for CBS. The man saw talent in young Larry King, and suggested he move to Florida, which was filled with opportunities for self-starters interested in the growing media market. King immediately packed his bags and moved to Miami, where he found odd jobs in radio that slowly developed into a career.
Larry King grew more successful in the 1960s, after hosting a radio show called Miami Undercover. He grew more recognizable with each passing year, and finally, in 1978, he earned national fame on a Mutual Broadcasting System, where he interviewed guests for 90 minutes every weeknight.
Today, Larry King still works actively as both a writer and as a television personality. Throughout his career, he has won two Peabody Awards, one Emmy, and 10 Cable ACE Awards. Even at age 87, Larry King remains fiercely invested in his career, and has shown no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
While Larry King is mostly known for his work as an interviewer and talk show host, he has also earned quite a bit of infamy for his chaotic romantic life. Out of all his many years, Larry King has probably married more women than any other celebrity we know today.

RIP Larry King. For me. You were the face of CNN for several years. You were so good with hosting Interviews of several celebrities at the time. In addition to that you were also the author of a best selling book "How to talk to Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere. Rest in Peace, Larry.
Larry King has always been a big part of our life. Rest peacefully sir.

Hello
I like how this video starts out with: “Larry King is one of the most recognizable and memorable talk show hosts ALIVE TODAY...”
In all seriousness, Rest In Peace Larry. Thank you for your tremendous work over the years.
Rest in Peace Larry King
RIP Larry.
87 age is a long life.
@@rosehouse32 yep
Quite a few this week. Gregory Sierra, Hank Aaron and Larry King🌷🌹🌷🌹may they rest
I don't understand the title. Has Larry passed away????
Thank you for the interesting story of Larry King .
Hello beautiful lady
I didn't know that Larry King lost two children, a boy and a girl within two months from each other, 😥 Sad. Now RIP LARRY KING.
Speaking from experience, no parent should ever have to burry their children. Children will burry their parents. It will be 29 years February 25th that we buried our oldest son, he was 19. Fatal one car accident while stationed at Ft Knox, KY. He was the passenger in the front seat...heavy rain, car hydroplaned and hit utility pole. This was before air bags. The driver and passengers in the back seat all survived with minor injuries. We love him and miss him...RIP Ted.
Have to tell you honestly I heard this last year and coupled with his age and the health challenges he had himself , I knew he wouldn't last too long . I mean how many people can really bear that kind of grief? I believe he's in a better place
@@donaldziemer1919 So sorry about the loss of your son! 😢🙏
@@Christina-xp9ys Thank you for your kindness. The 29th anniversary of his death will be on February 25th. We always place a red rose on his grave each year on that day.
@@donaldziemer1919 Oh! I can't imagine the pain. Both of my brothers lost their sons..I lost 2 nephews. Although, they were not as young as your son, it broke my brothers hearts. One to suicide and the other to an overdose..😭😭😭
Both of them were 31yrs old..a year apart on their deaths. 😥
Good bye 👋 Larry King 👑 thank u RIP 🪦 ✝️🇺🇸☣️
This guy had a serious problem. Had he never heard of just dating vs jumping to marriage? Has anyone done psychoanalysis on his relationship with women? Clearly a very successful career...admirable.
I think when he was forced to get an annulment by his first wifes parents it really got to him...that probably why he married so quickly every chance he had...
Angie Dickinson was also sweet on Larry King. I will miss him since I am a long time fan and read updates about his adventures
I remember watching the Larry King Show with my dad. That was a long ass time ago.
What's your favorite memory of him, Carlisa?
Today is Betty White's 99th birthday. Happy birthday Betty 🎊🎂🍦🎉
Yay! I love Betty White, thank you for reminding me.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MRS. ALLEN LUDDEN, BETTY WHITE !
Larry King you will be missed by your eloquent voice that brought the best out in every person you interviewed
He's just another human being. He must have never truly loved any of them and none of them truly loved him. I guess when you're successful in that business everything is fake.
I can't Fathom what L♡ve is, watching your video how soon they
I liked his style of interviews. It was safe for the person being interviewed. It was more conversational. Sort of catching up with old friends. There was no need for gotcha or hardball questions. New interview programs today should use his style. RIP...Larry King.
My sympathy and condones goes out to The King family
My condolences 🙏
Rest In Perfect Peace Mr. Larry King.
Started listening to Larry King late night on mutual radio in 1980. Heard him and/or saw him through thick and thin. Will miss him.
R.I.P. LARRY, YOU WILL BE MISSED BY ALL YOUR FANS GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.🙏
My condolences
Well King had his fans, but obviously, he wasn’t that great of a husband. I say that because he rebounded so quickly which I suggest means he wasn’t that invested in his marriages. Not sure women should marry a man with more than a few divorces. But when a man has money and fame, he will always have women who want to marry him.
Rip Larry King
My condolences go out to his family.
Me too.
Rip! Love your interview style. The people he interviewed him enjoyed him.
Rip 🙏
I just lost my job because of the pandemic, so I started a UA-cam channel about Top 10s and FACTS. Wish me luck!!!❤❤
Yes he was the talk and become the talk host best show. Please accept my sympathy
He fought for privacy laws from what I remember
Will miss him. Always go to youtube to watch some of his entertaining clips when he interviewed Don Rickles. He would always have Larry laughing uncontrollably.
R.I.P King
dam, 7 wives so that is why he wore those industrial strength suspenders. it is to hold up his mighty balls. the only interview that went south was with jerry seinfeld. remember that. larry called for a commercial break so seinfeld could cool down. now that was a classic show.
What a classic, Jody!
Lol this is hilarious 😂
This was very informative. I was curious anyway. James
See ya around Mr.King,we all will someday....
@Roger Johnson excuse me Roger Johnson, how dare you judge me,didn't God warn about judging others, you don't have that right, you never had the right to judge others and never will,
@Roger Johnson go f*ck yourself.
@Roger Johnson get lost ,,,,away with you
RIP Larry King🕊️🕊️🕊️🙏🕊️🙏
7 wives.......holy cow. he must of had a big grin on his face when he died.
No man can be that happy with so many exwives.
Why would he be happy? None of them lasted, they all ended in divorce!!
Must have cost him dearly
Some people aren't wired for long term relationships. I imagine he married each time as a symbol of commitment. Either way it was his life to orchestrate the way he did. Not much is spoken of him being a convicted felon when he was young which is good. No one should be judged their whole life because of a mistake when they were young as long as it isn't major.
@@ID30394 well you think he would have figured that out after the first one or two marriages no??
Keep getting back on the saddle Mr King.
There has to be something wrong with Larry King, to be married that many times, anyway RIP a very talented man.😷💔
Hello beautiful lady how are you doing
My condolence to 7 wife I BILIVE enjoy his life,
You really said he was one of the most memorable and recognizable talk show host "ALIVE" to day after he died uffff
🤣👏♥️
LOLOLOL
Larry King was awesome. He was very humble with no arrogance it was all about his guests.
I loved his show. My favorite was his interview with civil rights activist Jack Kevorkian.
I can’t believe he loved these women he was changing them so fast, they seem to be interchangeable! You would think after the second, the third, the fourth he would have learned something! You don’t get engaged after only a short time! Very very sad!
I love couples who aged in times....golden,diamond wedding anniversaries....🤩😘😍 divorced is not.known in my counrty😀😁
It is such a shame that this virus is taking so many good people
It's like the flu without the spotlight.
Do your research he did not die of covid
In spite of all of his failed marriages, I think Larry King is one of the best talk show hosts of all time. He was always willing to keep an open mind with all of the people he was interviewing. And that can be a very difficult task, especially when this world is filled with bigots. Rest in peace Larry and I hope to meet you in the afterlife. Plus, I enjoyed your story about him. Carry on.
Thank you Robert.........🤗☘
Rest in Peace. Amen
Oh no he died ? I knew he went to hospital. Very sad :(( RIP Larry King

Don't mind him marrying so many times, but he probably had to shell out a lot of money after each divorce to each one of those wives.
