Awwwww your Frailea seedlings are absolutely GORGEOUS Ana :-D and YAY I am so happy that my vid inspired you to repot these cuties, your Frailea seedlings all look AMAZING all re potted into the bigger community pot, and they all look so healthy too, thanks so much for sharing the AWESOME repotting with us, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and CAFFEINE and PLANT POWER to Las Vegas for a terrific Tuesday today XXXX
Wonderful video, Ana, and your seedlings are looking GREAT!! Haha, it looks like we are all busy potting and repotting currently! Cacti from the genus Frailea are indeed quite special, stay nice and small but have wonderful blooms! Thanks for sharing and have an excellent week ahead! 👍😊🌵🌱🌵🌼🌺🏵💚😎
These are great little plants with a weird flower habit. They can bloom without opening & set seed!! But also can open bloom! Very strange indeed!! Nice having nice seedlings to eventually replace the mother!! Great job repotting Ana!!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful little plants!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, out to Las Vegas, have a wonderful week ahead!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!! ✌️💖🌵🥀🌳🏵🌿🌸🌷🌱🌲🌹🌴🌻💐🍀🪴🌾😃👍
I love your channel so much!! I have a large cactus collection (small compared to yours) that I started 5 years ago and I just keep getting more and more into it. I got my first seeds last June and I’m so excited to repot them once they get big enough. You’re my go to for cacti questions!! Thank you so much for all your videos❤ I’m such a huge fan I wish I could go out west to see all the cacti there, the nursery’s in Louisiana are subpar. :/ no cactus nursery’s, but I can live vicariously through videos like this!!
@@CactusCaffeine thank you!! and yes I’m excited for them to grow bigger :) sewing cactus seeds is good out here in LA, high heat/ high humidity.. they’ve done really well so far, although the cold weather has them inside now I know they are going to enjoy a shady spot on the porch when it gets warm again. They flourished when I first planted them, so I’ll be getting more seedlings soon for the summertime 🥰
Nicely done, Ana 😊 Love these plants, especially this species. They all look lovely and healthy. Thank you for sharing with us as always. Have a wonderful day and week from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜☕️
It is an attractive cactus even without flower. It’s color makes it look elegant to me. I may not have given it justice by planting it in an ugly plastic pot, though.
@@CactusCaffeine Hi Ana 🙂 I got some seed and made a video about sowing it. I linked back to your video here, hope that's ok 🙂 ua-cam.com/video/BUWG_W9bK4w/v-deo.html Cheers 😊😊🌵🌵
Hi! Love videos!! Can you make a video on cactus 🌵 that are resistant to snow ❄️🌨️? I am interested in some columnular, barrel, and cluster type cactus (like AZ hedgehog cactus) that are resistant to snow. Thank you!!
Yesterday i saw the video of Lyn, today yours fun to watch. I really tought now way you are getting all those seedlings in that tiny pot. And you did... That shows how experienced you are handling all this. I bought a kind of opuntia in a nursery. On the way home all the tiny buts fell off. I let them dry for a week put som cinnamon on it and yesterday i lay them on soil. Do i have to put them under growlights? Have a great day and enjoy your coffee 🤩
Just place it under bright shade until it roots. It will root when the weather warms up. It will only need strong light once it is rooted and has started growing.
Mem I live in India. And your collection is mindblowing. I just wanna know if will you be able to send (sale) cactus seeds in the future. I will wait for your answer.
Thank you for your kind words. I’m sorry but I don’t sell cactus seeds. If you check my How to Sow Cactus seeds video, the comment section has a list of Cactus Seed sellers
@@CactusCaffeine Yes, I'm sure it's skills!!! I know the seedlings take a year or so before they start to push grow for other cacti. I dont have Frailea. Do you ever get seeds from CSSA? Are you a member? I just got a bunch from them to try.
@@CactusCaffeine Yes. I am germinating some really fun ones including Ariocarpus, Astrophytum, Huernia, Ferocactus, Dinteranthus, Conophytum, gibbaeum, lithops, etc. Happy growing.
I also have some fero cactus (wislizeni) seedlings which is around 13-14 months old now and i don't know when to repot it.! I grow it in 5-6 inch deep pot nd still there is some space in the pot. So, shall i left it as it is or repot it ? Can you pls help me. Thank you 🙏🏻 I am from Gujarat-India and here summer is already started nd temprature is reaching 39-40°C even in spring.

So strange indeed. It’s always a treat and surprise when it shows it’s flower. It has such shy flowers. Lol!
Sooo wonderful creatures and sooo cute cactus, thanks for this video. Make more videos on other Frailea species.

Thanks Daz! I like the look of this F Castanea. The purple and black looks elegant to me. Too bad it’s flower is very shy. 😉
They are so cute!
The cutest seedlings that I’ve grown 😉
Interesting info!
That's a very interesting cacti Ana 🙂 I was only looking at that in the book yesterday. Seedlings are looking great 👍🏼👍🏼😎😎🌵🌵

Nice video. Nice grow! Love the recycle pots! Is Frailea seeds easy to grow? How old are they now?
This batch of seeds germinated easily. Not sure if I just got lucky. 😊 My seedlings are 1 year old.

Yes, I am a member of CSSA. I haven’t tried ordering seeds from them but their list does have many interesting ones.
@@CactusCaffeine Yes, I saw they recently added more cool seeds so we shall see. Happy growing and stay warm.

If there is still space, I would leave it as is but just add fertilizer to it to rejuvenate the soil.

How much fertilizer is good for seedlings ? I am using mix organic fertilizer granuels.
👍😊💚🌵🌵
